Works well, did not cause sickness, has a slight odor, read instructions
I’ve had this on my cat for a little over a month and I have been pleasantly surprised. So far I have not noticed a single stray flea when she comes inside, despite the fact that there was recently a flea hatch out in one of the spots she frequently visits (yes this is being handled as well). And the only thing I noticed is it does have an odor, but it isn’t overwhelming by any means. I will stress that anyone who uses this product read the instructions. I don’t believe you are supposed to medicate your animal on top of placing the flea collar on them (this means insuring any prior medication is well out of their system). It seems such errors have caused issues with animals like those mentioned within this comment thread (one of my biggest concerns w/ this product). However, my cat did not become ill in any way following the application.

that was easy
used in combination with a liquid flea med, cats are doing great, no signs of fleas or any irritation on the cats. they don't have any overpowering scent either. I will buy again—plenty of length for even our 25-pound cat. they have been wearing about 3 weeks and have not gotten them caught or tried taking them off

Didn't Work At All
My cat got fleas, topical treatment didn't seem to work so I decided to try a flea collar. Put it on the cat, the fleas persist even though the collar says they should be dead in a day. I decide to give it a few days, more fleas than ever. A cat simply overflowing with fleas.Bought a Seresto flea collar to replace it. The fleas were all dead in a day, no more fleas on the cat. This is very much a you get what you pay for situation. I tried to cheap out with these, two collars for $30 or so against $60 for a single Seresto collar, but all that's gotten me is it costing $90 to get rid of the fleas instead of $60. Skip these, buy a Seresto one.

Stay on good and last the duration. They seem to be working good with keeping fleas down
These have been working good for my cats. The ridges on them help keep them on. My cats love to get theirs off. They can’t get these ones off as easy.

Good Purchase Nice Design
Nice fit and bright enough to keep track if it comes off. But the latching is unique and unlikely to come loose.

I picked this brand because it was cheaper than the other
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I don’t think this brand is good as Sreto Sreto really gets rid of the fleas, but I still noticed getting bit by fleas with this Heart’s Brand even though I shampooed and vacuumed my floor. I’m still getting bit by fleas and both of my cats have this collar on it’s supposed to last for Six months or so. I know that Soresto does but to me I’m noticing that hearts doesn’t really work as well as Sreto.

Not great at flea control. Very expensive to not really work better than the $5 version.
They do ok at flea removal, but not great. It has to be used with other things, so I think the $5 flea collar does just as well. Won't buy this version next time, as the value to price is just not there at $30. They are durable, but have some overall issues with effectiveness.
