This storage box is very sturdy and is made of good quality. The assembly took nearly two hours. The directions were pretty clear, but they didn’t label the sides correctly so we had improvise the hinges because we weren’t about to disassemble it and start over. It fits a decent amount of stuff in it. I am using it for all of my papers and research materials. It looked really small upon arrival, but it is a decent size. It’s not huge and definitely not small. I am going for a farmhouse look so it goes perfectly with my theme. I like that I can sit on it and put my shoes on when I’m getting ready. I also use it to put all of purses and pillows at night. Just know that if you are very impatient, the assembly will be awful because it takes some time. Wish you can just buy furniture on Amazon assembled already. Other than that, it is a pretty addition to my bedroom.

I was looking for a piece of furniture that would match the style that I have been going with. The rustic and barn door look of this chest was perfect. I wanted some storage space to hide my shoes. And bonus a place to put my shoes on. I am a big girl so looking for something that would not break under my weight. I needed sturdy and something that I would like to look at on a daily basis. And not super expensive as I have been on a shopping spree for my new to me house. This item was relatively easy to put together although I did ask a friend to help me cuz I thought it would be easier with 2 people rather than one. I think 1 person could do it by themselves but easier with 2. The top opens easily and has a nice hinge on it so that it doesn't slam shut. I have started to put my shoes in it - but it is no where near filled - so spacious. I would like to buy another and have a place to hide bags of litter and bags of cat food and this I think could work for that as well. It feels very sturdy when I sat on it. I currently have a little blanket on the top for my cat to lay on as she seems to have taken over the bench as her own. I love having hidden storage. It is a very nice piece of furniture and I would buy a second one for storage of my cat stuff. Instructions were easy to follow. The tools needed were in the box. Sturdy. Pretty. Inexpensive but quality.

Great chest! Very stylish. Holds our blankets along with any other odds and ends in our living room. Able to use it for a seat or to put drinks and food on.

Very nice and easy to build. Seems very sturdy and looks great. We were shorted a few screws for assembly, but not an issue as we had similar hardware from other projects. I recommend this.

Great storage space. Can hold around 10 blankets, depending on size. The color matches the images. Easy to assemble, sturdy, and a good bang-for-the-buck. Safety hinges prevent our toddler from getting injured. Looks great in any room.

I bought this storage chest based on very few reviews. But VASAGLE chests in general were getting good ratings, so why not? I can begin by saying I’m VERY happy with this chest. The box itself is large and heavy (45”x21”, 17.1 kg / 37.7 lbs, as stated on the box). However, the sections of the chest were very well packed and also well marked with small, letter-based stickers for assembly. (Only one tiny corner of the base section was damaged during packing/shipping, and this was inconsequential to the looks and functionality.) The chest came with all of the required hardware including a few extra parts, and the directions were very easy to follow. I found the main screw holes well made and aligned perfectly. (Yea!, since I did NOT want to have to repack this box and send it back.) One bit of advice: use your own tools if you have them; the ones supplied in such products usually fail on practicality. That said, I did have to drill out a few small holes for the hinge screws (not a big deal). Three hours, two sore forearms, and one slightly pinched finger later I had the thing completely assembled. The only significant gripe I have about this VASAGLE chest are the spring hinges for the lid; they don’t retract enough to let the lid rest on the frame unless you add some weight on top of the lid itself. (The spring hinges might improve over time, or I might just remove them altogether.) I would give this product a 4.5 Stars rating, but unfortunately I can’t select just half a star (lol). So I’ll rate this 5 Stars, especially considering that I got this model on sale, and hope folks understand that there might be a few very minor issues with an otherwise great looking and very handy storage chest. (This chest is sometimes referred to as a “Shoe Bench”. Not sure why. It’s a storage chest. But a rose by any other name … )

Llegó antes de lo esperando. Esta muy bonito y es amplio. El material es muy resistente y es fácil de armar, yo lo hice sola con las herramientas que vienen ya con el producto.

Solid and good looking with ample space inside to store general household items. Easy to assemble with included tools and instructions.
