Could this be used to stencil the design on a mirror frame?

I don't think that this would work well for stenciling. They are not flexible at all, and are not a flat smooth surface -- there is a lip that is the cutting edge of the die. I would recommend shopping for a stencil rather than a die -- the stencil will be smooth and flat.

I have a sizzle and cannot get a clean cut. Any secret to it with these dies? Very disappointed.

1. Place waxed paper between die and cardstock.2. Use a shim.3. If cutting plate is very worn, Use a new one.4. The use of the spellbinders steel plate also is helpful with intricate dies but may not fit your machine.5. Run die through machine, turn die sandwich 90 degrees and run through again is also helpful..
