Clinique Cheron by Théophile Alexandre Steinlen Art Print Poster (16 x 20)

This poster is beautiful. The colours are high quality on quality glossy paper, with no white border. It arrived pristine (no misprinting, smudges, bends, or tears), rolled in a very sturdy cardboard tube (I ordered from Accent Place, shipped via Amazon, if that helps). The only variation from the photo above is that the actual poster's background is more of a yellowed hue than actual beige. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and delighted to frame and hang this in my animal-friendly home.Incidentally, if you're curious what the main text translates to in English, it says: "Chéron Clinic. Veterinary specialist doctor" followed by their business's Paris address and telephone number. Steinlen's signature appears at the bottom and there is also other small, postage stamp-sized writing to the right side that appeared on the original advertisement that warned it was forbidden by law to resell or regift it. I'm guessing this was partly to discourage theft of the original.

it's a decent print, and I found the perfect frame at my local thrift shop. I don't get too hung up on how the colors should be, as I never saw the original piece of art to compare it to.I love this Théophile Steinlen work, and I'm so happy to have it on my wall now. Thanks!

This poster is better quality than expected. It was like like an art print with a very smooth, matte finish. Texture felt luxurious. The print quality is great. The entire poster is 16 x 20 inches which includes a white border (so image size is a couple inches smaller than the actual poster). This white border worked for me. You could mat this if you wanted. The poster fit nicely into one of those cheap poster frames from Michael's, the 16 x 20 inch one. Looks great even in this cheap frame, but fancier frame would work too. Pleasantly surprised by this.

I purchased this for a very dear friend of mine who is a veterinarian. She absolutely loved it and it is hanging in the reception area of her clinic. The print is lovely and the frame is very nicely done and good quality. After ordering, the item arrived ahead of schedule and was packaged very well protecting from breakage. Hung the cute poster on the wall.

Great print, nice frame- SHODDY fastener! After hanging for 2 months it fell off the wall because the fastener wasn't attached properly to the back of the frame... the print fell, glass shattered and frame broke. Print needs to be replaced. Have tried contacting seller, no reply.
