Pink light is flashing not blue it fully charge

This is normal, the purple (pink) indicator light shows it is in sleep mode; for your information: the blue indicator light flashes indicate is operating; the red one mentioned a low battery. Is it normal for this give off a slight buzzing noise?

Yes. The generation of the ozone makes a low frequency buzzing noise that is slightly crackly and really only noticeable if near your ear.

What is the difference between the standard version the the premium?

Standard version: with indicator light. The ozone emissions are as follows: Low grade: 1.2mg per hour on average High grade: 10mg per hour on average ………. Premium version: with LED display. The ozone emissions are as follows: Low grade: 2.4mg per hour on average High grade: 10mg per hour on average

Would this work for a cupboard mounted bin?

The ozone output is very small on the normal setting and the stronger one depletes the battery very quickly. There is no detectable ozone odour in the fridge but it might just be counter acting fridge smells. It might work in a bin but there is no means of attaching it as it is free standing.
