I really like the shape of the belt. A lot of people I know that use other weightlifting belts have issues with it being uncomfortable when deadlifting; however, since the sides of the belt get a little thinner, that fixes the issue of comfort completely. When I ordered the belt I was really worried about it fitting me. I am 5 foot 10 and weigh around 170 pounds and I got a medium. It fits me well and there is a lot adjustments that can be made with the belt if you need it looser or tighter. My waist size is a 31, which put me inbetween the small and medium so I went with the medium because I didn't want the velcro to be under extra stress. I would say if stuck between sizes go with the bigger one.Something you cannot see in the pictures is that inbetween the two front parts where the belt wraps around is a set of velcro. So you have that velcro patch and the main strap that you use to tighten. This insures that the velcro stays put when lifting. My only concern with the belt is if the velcro will last. Everybody has had velcro that peels off. I have not had it long enough to know if it is going to last or not. But it feels like it is built pretty well. This is why I did not give it a 5 star rating just in case. All around a great belt that will help support your core and keep you safe.

Works great
It works great for what I wanted it for, light support for upper body workouts and lighter lower body workouts. I still use a heavier duty belt for heavier lower body workouts.

Great belt for intermediate and Olympic-style lifters.
The belt is secured in two steps: first, the fit is chosen by wrapping the belt around the torso and then securing the first set of velcro pads. Next, a strap is wrapped around the belt, securing and tightening the fit. Once the second strap has been secured, the abdominal muscles can be pushed against the belt for additional support without fear that belt will give. The dual lock design is easier to put on and take off than a traditional belt clasp and is more secure than traditional velcro locked designs. Unless I put the belt on as tight as I am able to, I have not been able to make the belt give by pushing against it with my core. Like other belts that use velcro, it is susceptible to picking up dust and other debris which will reduce the locking strength over time. Overall, I regard belt's design favorably. The belt provides moderate support and allows enough mobility to perform complex compounds like the clean and jerk. This belt only provides a small amount of carry-through (which should be considered a positive in a training belt), so if you want to move very heavy loads, you will be better off using a thick leather powerlifting belt. For most people, this belt will be sufficient even more motions like the deadlift or the squat. I wear this belt while performing all of the aforementioned exercises. The build quality of the belt is acceptable. My belt has a few frayed fabric fibers. I trimmed them, and they did not continue to unravel. The belt has not softened or become less secure when used daily for two months (at the time of writing). At the price point offered, it would be disingenuous not to recommend the product to individuals in the market for a velcro lifting belt.7/6/2015 Update:After several months, my belt began to lose it's stiffness and had the tendency to give while performing deadlifts, squats, and during the catch portion of my clean. I was also able to make the belt give when wearing it fairly loosely and pushing my core muscles against it. I contacted the company asking if I want eligible for the lifetime warranty. The presumed owner of the company, Mark Pasay, replied promptly, requested my Amazon order ID, and then shipped the new belt in less than two business days. I have NEVER had a warranty filled so quickly or effortlessly. I have changed my rating from a 4 to a 5. RipToned is an exceptional company to do business with and have shown that they stand behind their product and their promises.

GREAT QUALITY GEAR!!
I currently own several pieces of RIP Tone gear and use all of them weekly when I go to the gym. I have had some of the gear for 4yrs and it is working as well as the day I got it. I'd recommend RT to anyone who works out and appreciates good quality. The other thing that makes RT such an incredible value is the price, you could pay more for other brands that aren't even as good. RT is my go to when ever I need work out gear.

Nice product ...
I have been waiting to provide some feedback until my husband had a chance to open the package and try out the belt. So far, he seems really happy with the belt that I selected for him.· The Velcro band is much appreciated, as my husband likes being able to tighten the belt to his exact size.· The washable material is also appreciated, as my husband likes the idea that he can wash the belt as needed (can’t do this with leather).· The price was reasonable, and I appreciated being able to order it online and avoid having to visit the stores during the holidays.· The quality seems nice upon inspection; this can only be confirmed once my husband starts using the belt each day.· The package arrived on time and in good condition. All in all, we’ve had a very nice experience with your company and your product.Thank you.

Great for women lifters with hips!
Overall, I really like this belt. I'm female, 27, 5' 2", around 140lbs. I've got a small waist but hips, so I was looking for a belt that had the curvature at the hips for my body type. This belt works very well, have used it 2 or 3 times since I got it. Still a tad bit stiff, but I don't see it being a problem and I would rather it be stiff than flimsy. The only con I have about this belt is the fact that you can't easily adjust it between sets of lifts. The reason I say this is because the belt has two ways to strap you in...the velcro connecting the two main pieces of the belt (on the inside) and the outside strap that goes through the metal ring and then back on itself and the velcro. Undoing or loosening both parts can be a little annoying, but I can deal with that. I'm just glad to finally have a belt that accounts for my HIPS! Haha!

Just as good as big brands
Great product, very sturdy, well made and just as good quality as some of the big brands. The support it gives is just as good as leather belts. If you fancy giving something different a try. Give this a go. You won't be disappointed

Sometimes i wonder, why some products have really significant disadvantages and is it not possible to create a product that can have everything you need for a low price - this is the answer :P SUPER GOOD for value

Just the right belt
Really like the belt, it’s very lightweight and good support for my back while deadlifting. My back wasn’t sore or painful after my back workout.
