I honestly couldn’t believe how well this worked! I have a rental house that I turn over every few months. I made the mistake (when I originally installed the tile) to use antique white grout. It just never looked clean no matter how hard I cleaned it. I bought this never thinking it would be my answer, but I was hopeful. The entire bathroom floor took about 20 minutes to cover. I only went over it one time. It dried quickly and looked amazing. Even if I have to do this in between tenants every time, I wouldn’t mind at all because it looks amazing! Plus, I just had the bathtub reglazed, so now everything looks bright and new. I bought a two pack, and maybe used half of one stick, honestly maybe less.

This pen worked perfectly! It covered both faded areas and grimy areas. My only issue was my cat “helping.” :D I was easily able to remove any of the gray that got onto the tile the scrubby strip on my mop. I only used one pen to do the entire floor and there is still liquid left in the pen. I feel like the nub held up well; the wear seemed reasonable to me. Very happy!

I just read a lot of one star reviews because I like to hear the critical things about a product, but I’m glad I based my decision on the overall rating instead. I ordered this product months ago and started using a pen to see how it went. My first thought was that this pen is not light gray like my original grout. My gray was neutral, probably a mix of white with a tiny bit of black, but this gray was created by mixing complimentary colors I think and adding white because it’s more of a very light blue gray. That’s the worst part for me. I got through about half of my kitchen with one pen. You do have to shake it occasionally and you have to push in on the nub to let the paint flow to the tip but then it comes pretty easily. If your grout is rough and if you color back and forth like a kids with a crayon, the tip will wear more quickly. Luckily they send replacements. If you draw your lines smoothly in one direction the tips last well. Two pens covered half my kitchen and dining room. I ordered more but they were delayed so I can’t take a video at the moment. I did take pictures. Forgive the mess, we’re moving. But you can see how bad the grout was because we’ve not painted or sealed it before this and the house is 5 years old, with two dogs, and Oklahoma red dirt. It was gross and the paint does cover well. The floor in the kitchen was done months ago as a test and it looks closer to the light gray I was looking for while the dining room was done a couple days ago and looks brighter. We had an addition where the contractor used white grout by mistake and I’m trying to get it to match. It may take more coats bc the white was so bright while the rest was light gray and dirt stained. The grout was uneven when the builder had it installed, but that’s not the pens’ fault. I don’t think this product was meant for showers but I could be wrong. I didn’t buy it for that so I wouldn’t know.

Dk yet how this works- I had to send back as the color was not a match . I did not open the package only looked at the cap color. Not sure they have a color that I need so have not reordered yet. Friend said her grout pen worked well which is why I bought one. I have to clean the grout first . I gave it a star but did not use.

I’d give this product 3 out of 5 stars. While it does cover the grout and offers a quick fix, I think simply painting the tiles would have provided a more cohesive and polished look for my bathroom. The product comes with two pens, but after using them, I realized I’d need many more to cover the entire bathroom—despite it being a small space. This is more suited for smaller areas with narrow grout lines. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my needs for a larger project. If you have a tiny space and just want a quick touch-up, it could work, but it wasn’t quite right for what I was hoping to achieve.

I had been fighting stained grout on my floor tiles for years and never could get it clean. I used these pens and my tile looks new again. I have since reordered two more times so that I can paint the tile in the rest of the rooms with tile. Highly recommend.

These work really well. I bought a bunch of colors my favorite is winter gray. It’s a very light gray. Makes brown grout look fresh and new!

It is very easy to use! The tip lays perfectly in the grout. I know they give you extra tips but if your grout is on the rougher side you’ll wear down the tips quicker than you’d hope. Otherwise will work well, maybe I just need to press lighter?
