My dog was an extreme puller. Like I thought I was going to have wrist injuries. Since he is a hound mix, he has the belly size of a lab but a much smaller neck circumference, which made it difficult to find harness that fit him properly and stayed more or less put when he got exctied and pulled. This harness fits him very well. I like the front ring option because it does reduce pulling and the ring sits high enough on the fit that it doesn't cause the leash to get caught up in his front legs too much. I like the martingale ring in the back as well for times when he's not pulling so much because it's very easy for him not to get tangled, even as he runs from side to side. The harness is very easy to clean and is the first one I've found that fits well and doesn't cause my dog's delicate hound belly skin to get super red and chaffy. I did not find the two- carabiner leash to be as helpful as I thought it would be for reducing pulling. It seemed like the carabiner on the back ring was doing more work when he pulled, so I prefer to use a regular and trustworthy strong leash with the just the front ring.

I only got the leash, but NOT the harness. Why?

Our 15-month-old Golden Retriever puppy (28kg) pulls a lot. I've done some research and got this harness. Better even, we could also select a beautiful 80s style! It's great, good material, very sturdy. I gave it a month before I write a review, but both my partner and I are happy with it. Our puppy never had a harness on, but she seems happy and comfortable. It took a few tries to figure out how to put it on, but once you know it's fairly easy. Did it help with pulling completely, no, once again we are a month in, but the pulling is way more manageable and she does walk to heel a lot better. The front and back hook is such a massive help with managing her, I just wish we got this harness sooner. Highly recommend it to everyone!

This is a quality made product, sturdy and very good looking, however it did nothing to stop my 80 pound blue heeler mix from pulling, it actually gave him more ability to pull me off my feet because of the two sections where the leash connects, the chest and back so there was less pressure in one area. I even tried attaching the leash at one point or the other on its own. This will not stop a dog from pulling, there are better training aids for this on the market

Bought two of these recently and totally happy with the quality of the product. My dogs loved it too.
