Great construction
Great fit, no leaks. Tighten bolts from the middle out like the diagram shows it worked for me, not factory bolt pattern it eliminated the hard to reach rear bolt. Hopefully never have to buy again but if I do I will buy this dorman.

Fit my 04 F-150, doesn’t match OE for my model, as it has the 14 bolt pattern. But this one works just fine and no leaks. My only complaint is that in order to check/swap VCT solenoids with this valve cover you have to take the whole thing off. You don’t have to with the older style as the gasket opening is twice the size of this one.

Missing parts.
Package arrived with 4 missing hold down bolts which are pretty necessary for a complete seal of a valve cover.

Replacement for all bolt patterns
I was informed by ford after searching for several weeks that all 14 bolt valve covers had been discontinued. The 9 bolt is a direct fit replacement and works well. No issues so far
