Strong and Fun Toy!
I ordered this toy for my puppy to help tire her out and it works perfectly! The little duck toy is cute, soft, and small, but very crinkly and she loves a crinkle toy so she goes crazy for it! It's not very noisy at all and seems safe to use with supervision. My puppy is a 6 lb small breed so I can physically lift her off the ground when she locks her jaws on the toy and pull her around with the rope easily. I appreciate that the rope and the handle are both sturdy and not thin or flimsy and that this toy will be able to be used for a long time. The pretty aqua and white coloring is visually pleasing too. I could easily see this being used as a Cat toy as well if your cat likes to chase things.Overall, while I'm not sure how well this would hold up to a larger breed of pup, for my dog it's perfect and I would recommend it to others looking for a easy way to tire out their small puppy!

Perfect toy for an energetic puppy!
I have had this toy for about a week now and my 12 week-old puppy absolutely LOVES it! She has seemingly infinite energy, and I was having difficulty finding ways to tire her out, especially because she hadn't had all of her puppy vaccinations yet and wasn't allowed to play with other dogs (which meant no dog park, no puppy class, etc.). I saw this toy when I was browsing Amazon and decided it was worth a try. Well, as I said earlier, my puppy absolutely loves it! I move it around the floor and she chases after it running full speed. It is by far the best way I have found to entertain her and tire her out inside the apartment, and the best part is that I don't have to run around like crazy: I can just stand (or even sit) in one spot and swing the toy around. She cannot get enough of it.As I stated before, I have only had this toy for about a week, I probably should mention that my puppy is only about 3-4 pounds; however, the toy seems to be extremely durable. A larger dog might be able to do some damage to the toy itself (just as they can with any other toy), but it does come with a replacement. Also, I love how thick and sturdy the rope is. For a puppy as small as mine, the rope part can sort of double as a rope toy, because it is definitely sturdy enough for a small dog to chew on it without you having to worry about them destroying it or swallowing pieces of it. I would guess that the toy is probably durable enough to use outdoors, but I have not tried that yet. Regardless, on days when the weather isn't conducive to playing outside, this toy is a phenomenal way to entertain your dog inside and get them to burn off some energy, even if you don't have a ton of space inside your home.Overall, I truly believe this is one of the best purchases I have ever made. You and your dog can get hours and hours of fun for a very reasonable price. I have made countless purchases on Amazon over the years, and this is the first time that I have ever taken the time to write a product review, which should tell you how much my puppy and I love this product. I would highly recommend this toy for anyone who has a puppy (or an adult dog that still has lots of energy and enjoys playing with toys), especially a smaller breed (like a Havanese, which is what my puppy is). If your dog is anything like mine, you (and your dog) will be extremely pleased with your purchase.

Great toy for active dogs! Awesome value!
I got this to use inside with my puppy to help tire him out. I love that the toy has sounds - he loves it! He is teething so he was able to chew through the black string at the end of the toy but he loves playing with it just as a toy as well. It is so easy to add another toy to the end of the red rope. While it is small, it is very sturdy. I was impressed with the quality of the rope and stick. It will also be great to travel with. The handle is not as comfortable as some of the larger flirt poles that have molded ergo handles, but it is just fine for short play time. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for something like this. At this price, especially with two toys, it is a great extra to have around.

Doggy's Favorite!
This is Puppy's FAVORITE interactive game. Indoors and outdoors. He loves to fetch, but boy can he play with this tail teaser forever... It's very light/easy on the wrists and will have your dog's attention in no-time (especially if your dog loves to fetch or is high-drive)! I have full control of how hard or easy I make it for my dog to be successful in catching the lure. I don't let him chew on either the line, or tail toy (even though it's pretty resilient) so the product has surprising longevity. The lure toy also lasts long after the rattler or squeaky ball gets ripped out. Doggy will still love to chase the "silent tail." I do wash the tail toy every now and then because it can get pretty nasty from the dried slobber and everything it attracts to it.The one gripe I have about this product/company is its quality control. I've purchased FOUR in total; two of which were slightly defective and had to be returned. The black, plastic weave covering/skin was unglued all along the pole so that the black tube protecting the tip (where the loose line begins) would slide down, causing the pole to rip through the skin. If this happens (which it very easily will if you have one with a very loose skin), the whole thing will very quickly become ruined/useless from the skin fraying then splitting halfway down the pole. Also, the handle on one toy came off after a few uses; so I had to search for some hard-core glue to fix it. Kyjen manufacturers clearly have a gluing or stitching issue. This led me to search for another toy of this type...The "Flirt Pole with the Fleece Toss Lure" by Squishy Face caught my eye. I bought it hoping for durability, but although their material quality is excellent, the whole thing was heavier and more awkward to flick around as quickly as my Kyjen ones. Plus the slingshot like bungee cord material was a no-no for us, because our dog liked to tug once he caught the lure then let go (yikes). But within a day or two, the lure became untied to the bungee and it was impossible to tie back and have it stay tied! I'll stop here since my full review is already on their page.Even with the quality control issues, I've given this Kyjen product 4 stars, still. The dog LOVES this toy and the fact that our 1st one was purchased over a year ago and has lasted this long with heavy use, merits it. I'd give 5 if they could just make sure their products are glued/stitched properly.-JANUARY 16, 2014 UPDATE-About a month or so ago, our first purchase finally bit it. I had forgotten to put the toy away and the dog chewed the rope off. But it lasted almost two years of heavy use! He still has his other one at the grandfolks' which I may now have to steal back for him...-DECEMBER 4, 2015 UPDATE-Earlier this year we purchased two more of these and they seem to have fixed the "glue/stitch" problem. Both my dogs love this still! My only new gripe is that they changed the length of this thing. It's now a good six inches (at least) shorter than their original design. Someday I hope they offer an extra-long version.
