Q: does this have gel inside or beads or seeds ?

It has seeds. As I said in my review, it cools off within 3 minutes. It's better to use a hot water bottle such as Warm Tradition transparent hot water bottles made in Germany.

Q: I want this for shoulder AND neck stiffness. But it looks like it only covers the very base of the neck. How far up the neck does it go?

This product is too small for what you want. I had to return it since it barely went around my neck. The actual bag is much smaller than shown in pics. Hope this helps - good luck!

Q: What is the inside material? Does the product contain magnets?

No magnet it's some sort of beans works great
