Excellent product, does exactly what it promises.
I think it's important to mention that while extremely easy to install, those of us who are the "I don't need the manual" type should take a moment to read through the instructions carefully. If we had done that from the beginning, we would've been up and running flawlessly the first time. However, in our haste, we ended up thinking that the unit wasn't working properly. Turns out it was the users, not the unit! Critical step: locate the IR "button" or emitter spot on your cable set-top box. This may not be obvious when you first take a look; we needed a flashlight shined on the face of the box to see the circular spot inside the device. This is important, because the little buds that come with the device must be affixed directly over it to work. We merely had the emitter close by, but not attached. That caused erratic performance that we thought was due to a faulty device. I contacted the company's customer service, and they were extremely accommodating and sent me materials to clarify proper set up. Once we physically attached the buds to the IR spot, it was smooth sailing. We have our FiOS fiber box, Apple TV and HDMI splitter all connected, and the Inteset repeater works like a charm.

Easy to set up and works great!
I needed to replace an aging IR remote system that used special batteries installed in the original remote controls. I was always leery of wired emitters and blasters because of the distance needed to run the wire. I chose this system because it's wireless between the receiver and extender. This system works great! Within 10 minutes of opening the box this thing was controlling all of my devices. Super easy to set up with no issues. Kudos to the seller. He sent a PDF of the instruction manual in case it wasn’t included with the product. It has a very small form factor which makes it practically disappear on the mantle.

Doesn't work.
Nice idea but didn't work for me. I tried every configuration possible including direct line of sight at no more than 25 feet and the emitted signals were garbled -- move up one, for example, either didn't move the selection or moved it 1 or 2 lines. Similar with other commands.Very disappointing.

transfers signals without delays.
The product works as described. I love it. The only issue is that you can only use the wire sensor either on the emitter or the receiver not on both. Other than that it controls the remote devices as if you were standing right in front of them. If you must use the wire sensors, be sure to place the senors directly on the IR of your Cable box/DVD player.

Works great!!!
To be honest I didn't have high expectations when I initially placed the order. I was shocked that I got an email from Jim at Inteset this morning with directions on how to set this up. He even promptly responded to my questions.Set up was extremely easy just be sure to put the right boxes in the right places. The boxes are also extremely small. They looked bigger in the pictures but they are maybe the size of a half dollar maybe a bit bigger. Once installed it works like a charm. You can now keep your cable box in a closet out of sight.I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to keep a clean look to your TV.

Plug it in - It works great. Eliminated 400MHz interference.
Didn't use receiver and transmitter pigtails so can't comment on that part.Placed receiver directly in front of my TiVo and placed transmitter about 35ft away in another room under the TV there.Specifically selected this one since it is 900MHz digital with frequency hopping for interference avoidance. My old analog IR repeater(s) of 10+ years was getting impossible to use due to a 400Mhz device added that would frequently knock out repeater for 5 or more seconds at a time.It is surprisingly small and good price for such performance. Will be buying another one soon.

I should have Done this Long Ago
I've been avoiding pulling a wired repeater cable between the bedroom TV monitor and its home theater receiver up through the attic and down through a wall. In five minutes I bypassed that whole problem. The included receiver and transmitter units are 1-5/8 inch in diameter and about a half-inch high plus another 3/4 inch or so for the antenna. They'll fit most anywhere and could be velcro'd onto the back of a TV, etc if desired for device management.I used the included wired receiver cable stuck onto the front of the TV monitor and one head of the two-headed emitter cable stuck onto the HTheater receiver over its IR receiver location. Its all just works - Plug and Play. No more aiming the remote out through the door toward the media cabinet. The only downside is that I now have two more 24/7 wall warts drawing another bit of power in my home. It never ends.According to the included directions, additional receiver pucks are available if you need to broadcast to multiple physical locations with the same remote control, like say the cable box is in one room and the home theater receiver is in another and both are remote from the viewing location. Clever.
