Easy and accurate
This device works great. The display is easy to read and can be illuminated if necessary. The outdoor sensor can be charged using the included USB cord. The sensor will hold a charge for approximately 30 days. The indoor display unit is battery powered (two AA). The device comes with a set of batteries included. Our indoor temperature, as measured by device is exactly the same as our thermostat. The outdoor temperature is typically within one degree of the temperature given on a weather app. Very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to family and friends.

Good product - make sure you get the right one
I've had a couple of Thermo-Pro indoor-outdoor thermometers, and currently own two. (One helps me keep track of the temperature and humidity in my unheated basement crawl space.)I've had both the battery models and the kind that recharge via USB. The battery models seem to consume batteries at an unusual rate (for both the display and the remote), and then they just seem to die unexpectedly. So I have moved to the USB-chargeable ones. (The display always needs a battery.)These seem to last a long time, and don't suck up batteries. Also, the face is larger and easier to read.So I recommend getting the Thermo-Pro model where the remote can be recharged via USB cable.

battery replacement is almost impossible
Product works fine as long as the battery is good. Once the battery dies in the outdoor sensor, it's practically a disposable unit. The battery compartment is hidden and is only accessible by removing 4 very tiny screws that are sunk below the surface of the unit, making them impossible to see (IF you can find a screwdriver small enough to fit the screws). I ordered 2 of these before I knew what I was getting into. Never again.

Easy to read on fridge door
Easy to set up, sticks to the refrigerator well, easy to read numerals. The battery is rechargeable, a good thing. I wish it included indoor humidity - if it did I'd give it five stars.

Works with three receivers
I have other single thermopro with receivers. What's nice about this one is it can hook up to the other receivers that are in different locations. I had a problem with the built-in battery on this one and the company replaced the whole unit. Good company. good product.

Sensor won’t recharge
After a year of use, the sensor stopped reading. Even though it is supposed to show a low battery reading on the base unit and didn’t, I decided to recharge the sensor. After attaching it to it’s USB charge cable, it is supposed to change from a red signal light to green when charged (4 hours.) After 24 hours waiting, it is still red and will still not sync with the base unit. I bought this style because it use rechargeable lithium battery technology instead of battery replacement. I expect more from Thermo Pro. Attempts to contact customer service take weeks to get a response.

Accurate to 5 degrees either way
Great product, just don't expect it to align with real temperatures accurately. If it's say, 58 degrees, you can be sure of its accuracy from 53 - 63 degrees. I found it to be accurate in the morning and night hours to the actual degree, only to vary somewhat over time. But this is what online thermometers say is good. I'm happy with this IN/OUT thermometer. Like this AM, my Thermpro thermometer was 58 and online measures agreed, but since writing this review ThermPro reading went to 59 degrees and all online that I use are 61 degrees.I use a standard, analog thermometer as a backup. It says 60 degrees. Yeah, I'm Happy.

Excellent thermometer
The ease of reading and the accuracy do not take long to asses. As for being weatherproof, I have an older unit whose outdoor part had been in rain and frost for more than a year. It has been in a place not exposed to the sun though.
