Solid Floating Island Cart
It says it's a two person job and it means it. I built about 85% of it before I needed some help. It's fairly sturdy and weight of the cart is okay. It needs some stuff in it so it doesn't go rolling around. There's only two cart locks on the wheels and they aren't the best. I'd say it's worth the cash. There's random holes in the back of the cart that I think might be for ventilation? All in all, a good cart.

Kitchen unit
Lots of pieces n parts to put together. Some Assembly Required is not exactly what it takes. But once together, it is perfect for what I wanted. Sturdy, attractive piece of furniture for the kitchen space.

cheap and gets the job done
I assembled this cart while watching a baseball game alone. It was easy to put together, but I’d recommend adding a small bottle of wood glue for extra strength. I bought it because I needed additional counter space for meal prep. I didn’t need much extra room, so this cart suited my needs well. I’ll likely place something heavy on the bottom shelf for added stability. If you’re using a cordless drill or driver, set the clutch to maximum to avoid stripping screws and hardware. If I were to do it again, I’d apply glue to all the screw holes. For a more heavy-duty option, I’d visit a store with pre-assembled carts. A slightly wider base would also improve stability. Overall, this cart meets my needs. If you can’t shop in-store and want a sturdier option, consider ordering based on shipping weight divided by the base dimensions. With the heavier option being the better one.

Looks nice and is semi functional
Product is ok for the price. Drawer does fall apart often. I had to wood glue it and I’m not even sure that will hold. But I absolutely couldn’t find anything else with this price point. And I can’t even imagine trying to return this item because of its size. The cabinet does roll but not very well because of how delicate it is. I recommend moving it around with help not because it’s heavy but to avoid breaking it.

You might want to ask for a helping hand to speed up assembly.
I put this together by myself. It took me few hours, the instruction manual was easy to understand and follow. I like that I was given extra screws and other spare parts. I used my small electric hand drill which helped speed up the assembly. Great cabinet, love the wheels for easy moving.

Good but get what you pay for
All in all, I would buy this again, but you do get what you pay for, which is why I’m rating it 4 and not 3. It won’t last years, but it works for the time being. It is cheaply made, so we’re gentle with the drawer and cabinet doors. The shelves in the cabinet hold glass Tupperware and glass mixing bowls, but I wouldn’t put anything heavier than that in there. If you use the roller function a lot, you will end up with a wobbly mess of an island, but we just use it to pull it out from the wall to extend the leaf and put it back, so we aren’t doing a lot of maneuvering. I haven’t had concerns with the leaf being able to hold weight, and it works great as additional prep space, but after the months of use, one side is starting to bend a little. It’s cute and functional, and we got what we expected at this price point.
