So far so good
Very easy to install and adding additional Decos is a walk in the park! Network has been very stable so far, reach is pretty good, specially considering my home has thick brick walls which get in the way of every WiFi signal I’ve tested here. Very happy so far.

It’s ok but not amazing
Works ok but the m2 coverage of the device is nowhere near advertised so you may want to get one that reports to cover several times larger space then the space you need to cover. For context our property’s internal walls are plasterboard so we would expect coverage to be closer to advertised but it’s not anywhere near.

Easy and fast
App is easy to use and set up the system, way better than my old Linksys system. Speeds are very fast on my 1gb internet speed. I use the gigabit ports for the internet and the 2.5G port for my LAN. Used the same old network name and password on the TP Link, and my smart devices joined automatically

Geniune at a fraction of the price
This device exceeded my expectations, I was wondering if 3 will be enough for my home, yet I amanged to cover ground floor and first floor with 2 only especially when you locate the correctly and use ethernet backhaul to connect them together. Speeds are great and the features on the app are very good and you feel you are in control.

Poor coverage
Real-world coverage falls short of the promise. The system performs well (lets say ok) on one floor, but fails to maintain stable connectivity vertically across floors, even with powerline and Ethernet options tested. The Deco app shows weak signal despite close proximity. The advertised 7,200 sq. ft coverage is misleading for two-floor homes. Works at best ok horizontally, but not ideal for villas or duplexes. I wish I coul get a return and sue them for their 7200 sq ft claim and visual showing connections across multi floor rooms.

Disappointed to see they deprecated WireGuard for VPN config, apprarently for all their products. OpenVPN is absolute trash unfortunately (the only one available). Their help centre articles still show all the guides on how to set it up… this was fairly recent from what I can tell. Ridiculous

Been using it since a few months and it’s working absolutely as it’s supposed to. I haven’t had to reset it yet even once. Installation was super easy (just download the deco app and follow instructions). I bought the three set and now there is no dead spot in my entire 8000 sq. ft. House not even in my garden. So range is good. No heating issues. No drops or connectivity issues not even once. The whole house has single ssid. I use the 6e feature for wireless connectivity n the speed is 99% same. Overall my wifi dead spots, low signal, resetting and even thinking about my wifi itself days are gone. It’s like it doesn’t exist, it’s so well integrated in my house. Highly recommend this over any other brands or routers out there. For more detailed queries ask the experts. I am just a leman trying to use the best things available out there to solve my daily problems 😊

Well that was easy. I already had an earlier model Deco Mesh. When this arrived, in the deco app you can just select Replace Main Unit and place the new unit next to the old one then Bam it says "new main unit activated, unplug old unit" Thats it, all decives continue to connect with no reporgramming and now my speed in the further corners of my house have doubled.

Initial feedback: these arrived this morning, and I was quickly able to set them up and decommission my old mesh wifi during my lunch break (working from home). Using the same SSID and password as my old wifi, and following the prompts on the app, setup was incredibly easy and very quick - get the main unit up, add the 2 satellites, and all of my devices reconnected without a hitch! Setup: 10/10 Even my old wifi printer, which has been glitchy for a few weeks, is suddenly working flawlessly again - turns out the issues were wifi connectivity and not the printer itself - saved myself having to replace that, score! As for the actual performance: After a few hours I'm super impressed. My phone (iPhone 15) is getting 927Mbps download speeds (I have gigabit fibre internet, so that's pretty much as good as it can be right now!) My older laptop is getting 500-550Mbps download speeds - both LAN and WiFi. More than plenty for working from home! Upload speeds are around 100Mbps for LAN and WiFi devices - but having done my research before buying these, I was aware of this limitation, and it's not a problem for me. Download speeds are more important, I don't do any large uploads. Performance gets 11/10 because of the aforementioned printer. For a very average home with a ton of smart devices, day 1 is looking great! Long may this last!
