JASON Fragrance Free Conditioner, 16 Ounce

I have long, very fine natural blonde hair. I live in Tucson (crazy dry!) have been ill for many years and am severely chemically sensitive. My unhealthy hair had become a source of embarrassment, lifeless, colorless, thin and coming put in clumps after washing. Every conditioner was either too light or weighed it down and none conditioned deeply enough. My options were very limitted because I’m extremely chemically sensitive—I kept having to try new ones because “fragrance free” often isn’t. (Lots of money gone and barely used bottles)I liked Jason’s new/revamped fragrance free shampoo, it cleanses even really greasy days without stripping. But what really made the difference was when I added this conditioner.The first day I used it I got a compliment from a friend, and after a few uses my hair actually had shine for the first time in many many years, which brings out some nice natural color I didn’t know was there. I still go 3-5 days between washing and this conditioner doesn’t weigh my hair down. And it actually stays soft for a few days despite the desert climate (ised to be like straw on day 2) and looks newly washed for 3-4 days. Also, it detangles enough that I lose a lot less hair when I brush it through.after showering. (I think the gentle but thorough cleansing of the shampoo helps—i think my scalp is cleaner without the hair being stripped)My Hair looks thicker and I’m actually starting to wear it down after hiding it in buns and hats for years.My 80 year old mom has very thick, healthy short hair and uses the new Jason fragrance free shampoo without any conditioner, and loves it.

When my acne was at its worst, I was looking for ways to make it better besides "slather this thing on your face". Diet, laundry detergent, body wash, everything. I went for fragrance free stuff to see if that would be better for my skin. And yes, shampoo and conditioner matter -- they end up on your body, on your pillow cases, sheets, etc.Combined with the fragrance free shampoo, my hair has been doing great. I'll be honest and say that my hair has not been The Best It's Ever Been. But my body acne has gone down significantly. I don't get breakouts on my back and shoulders anymore; just the occasional blemish here and there. I'll probably be switching hair products now since this has done what it needs to do and my hair is not responding to it as well as it used to. (Though my hair is short, so these bottles lasted me about 5 months.)

Arrived as advertised, fragrance free. I won't be continuing with it, though, because I don't like the way it feels on my hair. It's very thick, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but is hard to distribute evenly through my hair and leaves it feeling weighed-down. Also doesn't seem to make my hair easier to comb, which is an essential function of conditioner for me (I have long, thin/fine, slightly wavy hair that tangles if you look at it sideways).

My wife bought this conditioner and writes: I bought this conditioner because it is one of the only unscented conditioners I can find that does not contain ingredients that cause acne or skin irritation according to analysis by cosdna.com. I've used this product in combination with Jason Fragrance Free Shampoo for a few months now and am very happy with the results. My hair is soft, produces less smelly oil, I have no scalp itch, have fewer split ends, and fewer pimples on my back and hairline. The consistency of this conditioner is really nice to work through my hair and rinses clean.

The manufacturer has recently changed their formula to a creamier formula. I was very excited with the change since i am allergic to most moisturizers in conditioners. When I ordered the Jason's unscented conditioner from this site they sent me the OLD FORMULA!! All the months of work I had done to get my hair smooth and grow out the broken ends was all undone when I rand out of shampoo while traveling and ordered off this site to save about $8 in shipping. Never again!! Now I know that the $8 was worth knowing I am getting the correct formula from my regular website and NOT this one!! Lesson Learned on my part. If you like the old formula then this is the site for you. You can tell the difference by the color. The old formula is white and the new one is a beige color and considerably thicker and creamier.

I was exposed to toxic chemicals in 2006 and since then I cant breath when fragarance or dye is in the products. i have search for yrs to find this type of product and Jason's shampoo and conditioner and only use this now. It is the greatest chemical free product on market that I have found. I dont have any scents of any kind in my home. No candles, fragarences, air freshners, etc allowed. Anyone who has multiple chemical sensitivity sydrome from exposure to toxic chemicals where it should have not been and by the time your exposed it is to late....damage is done permanently and non-reversible. But at least we have Jason company to help....

I love this product as I am allergic to all sorts of fragrances and perfumes. It has that without sacrificing quality. However I wish I could get them in bigger bottles again

Reason for only 3 stars is, is that is supposed to be fragrance free, and free of all chemicals etc. My daughter has to have zero smell, and cannot use any produts with any chemicals, smells, basically zero everything in a conditioner. This is making her sneeze terribly! We can not use this. Otherwise, it is probably a good conditioner.

Been using this shampoo been using this conditioner for years. No fragrance.

Good. Fragrance-free.
