I was skeptical at first, but I was pleasantly surprised! It is small, but a little goes a long way! Not only did this work better than abreva, but the price is a plus too! It helped with the itching and burning feeling you get from dreaded cold sores! I didn't notice a smell or taste, and it definitely moisturized and healed my cold sore with in a few days, along with taking lysine pills! Definitely will buy again!

If you get cold sores through the seasons then you NEED THIS. I couldn’t even tell you the last time I had a cold sore since I started using this. I will apply it randomly like once a week or so just to make a habit of using it and I swear to you it has kept cold sores at bay. If you DO get one though, this stuff helps to dry it out, lessen the tingly feeling, shortens the duration that the cold sores sticks around and it helps it heal faster. This is an all-around ESSENTIAL product for anyone who gets seasonal/periodic cold sores. This is one of those staple items I will literally never go without.Use it in conjunction with your favorite balm to keep your lips from drying out.

This is my favorite product to prevent cold sores. Plus, it works great as lip moisturizer.

This product is heaven. I’ve been recently getting and struggling with these sores which has severely upset and stressed me out since I’ve never ever ever had these before... This product and the preventative chapstick in another brand I bought have mostly given me back normal lips, I use this if a bump appears and it often goes away the next day. My first time using it, I had a sore I had been struggling with for several days already and it cleared it up quickly in another 2-3 days, whereas they WERE taking about 2 weeks before I for this stuff. The chapstick is Herpecin L that I use to prevent. This Lysine tube product is what I use when I actually get a bump which, as I said, clears out in a day.

Cold sore are a bear! Lysine helps to sooth it. I don't know that it helps heal it any faster. Taking oral lysine is probably going to help more in the long run. I have also found that putting oil of oregano directly on the cold sore helps immensely, as the oregano can kill viruses....but beware...it burns for a few minutes. I had a foot ball sized cold sore on my lip and the oregano helped get rid of it within a week. Usually it would take 2.5 weeks for it to clear up. That being said, I'm still in favor of the Lysine lip treatment as it does sooth the pain. I'm only giving 4 stars because I think it's pretty pricey.

This is the best!Better than all the other things for a cold sore. This knocks it out quickly. Abreva doesn’t even compare to this! The price of the product, too!! So good.Love this brand! Thank you.

This is great for clearing an occasional fever blister! It works better than other over the counter products and starts clearing in a day or so. Great product!

As soon as my pkg arrived I opened the box. My bottom lip was really hurting so I was excited to try this. It was instant relief!! I did not need to suffer - very effective.
