An Essential Accessory !
I have strained my neck innumerable times trying to look through the polar finderscopes on my mounts. This device solves the problem, your polar picture is now clearly visible from a much more comfortable position. Also, the unit can be turned sideways left or right to make the view more comfortable, which is a very nice feature. The package appears to be a combination of a well made DSLR camera finderscope and a 3-D printed nice sturdy plastic mount that grabs the telescope finderscope firmly with three nylon screws. I was pleasantly surprised on how well made it is, and how well it works. So far I have attached it to a Skywatcher Star Adventurer II, to a Celestron AVX mount with (optional) optical finderscope, and to a Skywatcher HEQ5, and it fits perfectly on all three (the polar finderscopes on all three are made very similarly it seems). 5 stars for sure !

GREAT
I have some choice words from twisting my neck around trying to look through my Polar Scope. This 90 degree viewer has been the best thing I have purchased since the invention of sliced bread. I saw this on facebook and jumped on Amazon 2 minutes later. If you have anything that makes you bend over and twist your neck get one of these..

Cheap solution for astrophotography with older DSLRs that don't have flip out screens.
It works OK for intended application but I have to say the sighting is a little tricky. There is a lot of distortion at the edges of the field of view and you have to get your eye in the right position to be able to see the image through the lens. However it does get the job done and can quickly convert a camera with telephoto lens into a telescope. I don't see it being anywhere useful for trying to image something that is moving with any speed.

Great Product and price.
I note several points:1) The description is very accurate as to the polar scopes it fits. My scope was a little too small in diameter. That I fixed with a few turns of black electrical tap. My exposed scope length was a little short. That I fixed by putting a thin shim in the back of the collar of this viewer. All works great. Knowing the exact requirements before purchase allowed me to figure out a fit.2) Right angle polar scopes look to be priced from $75 to $140. They all look to have the same optical system from the same Chinese factory. Certainly this one was excellent and sharp.3) I have an old fashioned polar scope with 3 star alignment on the pole. This requires seeing to the edge of the field. This right angle adapter did not quite reach to the edges of the field on my scope. However if your polar scope uses the new clock scheme where Polaris is put in the correct position on the circular graticule, then I think this adapter will work perfectly.4) So, if you don't mind the funky green adapter, you can save $50 with this excellent unit.

Not Bad

WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?
I've been an astrophotographer for about 15 years. Equipment improves steadily over time, but every now and then there's a simple gadget that makes imaging waaaay easier. This is one of those gadgets. The only thing I'd want to make you aware of is that MSM now makes a metal version of the "interface" (adapter) piece that goes between the viewfinder and the polar scope. I'd highly recommend ordering that version since I don't quite trust the longevity of the 3D printed piece. Order it—you won't regret it!

Great addition to Skyguider Pro
It still seems a little expensive for what it is, but this right angle viewfinder has made polar alignment so much easier. I don't have to be squatting in the weird can't touch the tripod position any more. I can just put this on and look through the eyepiece. The zoom on it is nice too. Makes seeing the alignment grid much easier.

Essential, in my opinion
This is basically the reason I'm able to do astrophotography. I dreaded going out at night and trying to angle my fat butt into a spot where I can see Polaris and get a good alignment. Often I got to a point that was "good enough" instead of "perfect" because I couldn't bear it anymore. If you're getting older and/or out of shape, I would consider this essential. For anyone else, it's still a great investment.Used with an iOptron Skyguider Pro.
