Badly written and dull
Flowery writing, vocabulary too advanced for dull and simplistic story, and I was not a fan. My daughter loves Tangled and was looking forward to the new cartoon series. I got her the book since she enjoys having chapter books read to her. We gave up in chapter two. It was, frankly, dumb and boring.

My girls don't like this particular storyline for Rapunzel. Her father sounds too mean to them.

Awesome book!!
The book Before Ever After was an awesome book! I would love to read it again. There were many interesting parts and the same story as the TV series. I would highly recommend this book! I am definitely looking forward to reading more of these books.

A Dissapointment
This book was a disappointment. I expected details about the characters and world building that weren't mentioned in the movie, but this book didn't have anything new. Anyone who saw the movie doesn't need to read this.

Der Start zur Serie, rund um "Rapunzel - neu verföhnt"!
Wundervoll und leicht erzählt, glänzt dieses Ergänzungswerk zu "Tangled - the series". Ich habe es förmlich verschlungen, selbst da ich den Film dazu schon kannte. Für Rapunzel-Fans allemal ein Muss. Die Illustrationen sind besonders schön hierbei zu bemerken.

A lovely continuation of the film, definitely for younger children though is an interesting read for older audiences. It sets the scene for the upcoming TV series very well.
