I was given an old Toshiba P55W laptop with a badly de-laminated display. After determining that it otherwise still worked I decided to order a replacement screen if I could remove the bad screen without damaging the rest of the laptop.This display came well packaged, and is working exactly as advertised. The display works great on this laptop running Ubuntu 24.04, and the touch screen and auto brightness are all working correctly. I will enjoy working with Ubuntu on this old laptop.

My Samsung laptop screen started to go bad, and I was sure it was the end of my laptop. This replacement screen was an exact fit, was easy to install, and works as good as the original It actually saved my laptop!

It took 10 minutes after watching a few videos. My original screen kept getting worse with "bubbles" and now it's clear as day. The touch screen doesn't work, but that's good. I never used it, nor liked it anyway. Great price and great product! Highly recommend if you're have issues with your screen.

The new screen assembly arrived this afternoon (well within the 2-day shipping estimate), and an hour later it was installed and running beautifully! The connectors were exactly the same as those from the original from this model (P55W-B5224), so everything went well with the installation. This has brought new life to my eight-year-old laptop! Replacement for my P55W-B5224 that was delaminating in several places. The installation was not too difficult and the connections were the same on the old and new screens. Was a bit unclear on which direction to pull the plugs out after separating the wires from the glue, but looking at the plugs on the new screen was pretty obvious to just go in the direction of the wires towards bottom of screen. Tested before reassembled and was good but but got black screen at completion. Had to pull it apart and reinstall screen plug and replace the tape and all was good. Screen looks identical to the original with all the same logos printed on it.

I just bought this item. I was afraid about some reviews here talking about pale screen. But I realized why everything is pale.At the top of the screen we have 3 holes, camera led, camera and light sensor. I'm pretty sure that the manufacturer of this screen missed the last one because the sensor light is completely blocked. That means the computer thinks you are in a very darkness environment, so Windows adjust the brightness automatically at low.If you know what are you doing (I don't), try to make the hole by yourself or you can do what I did. Go to all settings in Windows 10, then Display and remove the option: "Change brightness automatically when lighting changes". Now I can't tell the difference between this screen and the original. ;)Cheers!

First, no fault of the sender, the shipment was delayed by a day. This was a huge setback, but the fault of UPS who decided they new better and used an address I had not lived at for 3 years instead of the one I gave and do live at.Missing an urgent deadline, I put off installing the screen until I was less rushed.I left the new screen in the package until the laptop was ready to install. Old screen removed, parts exposed - opened the package and at the lower right corner the screen was cracked. Fortunately not on the touch screen portion, just on the edge, right up to the screen. No doubt this will be an issue later.Next, the screen does not display colors/brightness as the original screen. It looks faded, white washed. There are no graphic settings to correct this. The display is so faded that glare and reflection is nearly too much to see what is on screen.

This product did NOT fit my P55W-B5224 as claimed. 1st it's missing the hole for the light sensor and 2nd it did not fit the attachment points along the bottom which I attribute to the cheap loose connection for the camera, light sensor and microphone along the top. Amazon was useless to figure out the problem with the item except for only to issue a refund with return. I was able to find the CORRECT item on another website and will be installing it later.
