XiaomiSmart Air Purifier 4 App/Voice Control,Suitable For Large Room Smart Air Cleaner Global Version, 400 M3/H Pm Cadr, Oled Touch Screen Display - Mi Home App Works With Alexa - White

I received the Global version, meaning that it supports the Xiaomi Home app and voice assistants (Alexa, Google Assistant). I primarily purchased it for use in my Kitchen to prevent cooking odours from escaping into other rooms. Here are my thoughts after about 3 days of use:- The filter is easy to install and has an RFID chip for tracking filter life and the type of filter. It came with a HEPA filter (gray) with a built-in in activated charcoal layer. It also supports filters that are compatible with the air purifier 3H (According to a xiaomi store I called based in Sharjah). The filter quality is good and doesn't have any offensive smell on first use- The top cover is removable with a screwdriver, so it's easy to clean the fan and inner housing completely- It has a negative ion generator like other more expensive air purifiers. This setting can also be turned off in the app- The fan is powerful and has good airflow- The OLED display on the front is very useful. It allows you to turn the air purifier on and off, and allows you to cycle between different modes (auto, manual). The display shows the current PM 2.5 reading, temperature, humidity, mode and wifi connection strength- The xiaomi home app is the main reason to get this air purifier. It displays all the information that the OLED display shows, allows you to operate the air purifier from anywhere with an Internet connection, and allows you to run automations if you have other Xiaomi smart productsCons:- Google assistant integration is basic. It only allows you to turn the air purifier on and off. It doesn't display any of the sensor readings- the included power cord is long (approx. 2M), but not long enough to reach the outlet near my kitchen counter- The holes on the top cover are huge and aren't covered with a mesh. This means debris can easily fall into the motor housing- The negative ion bristles are located only near the air outlet instead of near the air inlet like other expensive air purifier, so I'm not sure how useful it is- The PM 2.5 sensor is slow to react to changes since its located at the back of the air purifier- The auto mode only ramps up the fan speed above 60ppm pollution in order to stay as quiet as possibleVerdict:If you're purchasing your first air purifier, this is probably the best one at a price point of AED 700. However, it doesn't offer major improvements over the Xiaomi 3H. Further, since the 3H is around AED 490 and offers almost all the same features and CADR, it's best to go with that if you're buying multiple air purifiers for your home.

I recently purchased the Xiaomi Air Purifier 4 and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. Not only did I manage to get it for a fantastic price, but its overall performance and features have truly impressed me.Setting up the Xiaomi Air Purifier 4 was a breeze. The entire process was straightforward, and within minutes, I had it up and running.One notable feature of this air purifier is its negative ion functionality. While it's worth mentioning that I chose to turn it off after reading about it online.The integration with Google Home and Alexa is a definite plus. Being able to control the air purifier with voice commands adds a new level of convenience to my daily routine. I can effortlessly adjust settings and monitor air quality without even lifting a finger.I was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy of the air pollution readings. Comparing the Xiaomi Air Purifier 4's readings with those from the IQAir website, I found them to be remarkably consistent.In terms of performance, the Xiaomi Air Purifier 4 excels. For my bedroom, it efficiently cleans the air in a matter of minutes, with noticeable improvements in air quality. I appreciate how quickly it gets the job done, allowing me to enjoy fresh and clean air whenever I need it most.The only gripe I had was the plug. Initially, I was expecting a UAE plug to be included, but to my surprise, it came with a round plug instead. This meant that I had to use an adapter to make it compatible with my electrical outlets. While it was a minor inconvenience, it would have been more convenient if the purifier had come with the appropriate plug for UAE.

I am extremely satisfied with the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4! It’s powerful, efficient, and keeps my room feeling fresh and clean all the time. The air quality has noticeably improved, and I no longer experience any dust or lingering odors, my sleeping area remains fresh, thanks to the purifier’s excellent filtration 👍🏽

Does its job pretty well, and integrates with the mi Home app (and alexa). The only thing that it's not great at is that it detects humidity (due to steam and so on...) as pollution thus reducing air quality incorrectly. If it wasn't for that I would have given it 5 stars.
