No "Retaining Ring" to trap bits, requiring pliers to remove. Bits are held by a magnet on this one. Straight and precise. Not like the cheaper no-name branded stuff. The Bosch 11-inch is a tiny bit crooked, but acceptable. Biggest downside is cost, I'm surprised how expensive this is.

It does what it need to do and it holds the screw

This is better than most "no-name" holders. The magnet holds the bits firmly in place, and the holder holds the bits without wiggle, while not being too tight to make it hard to change them. Nice machine-turned finish rather than the usual chrome plating. Solid build. I would definitely buy this model again if I lost it.

These Bosch bit holders are my favorite. Work well and reasonable price.

I have every brand of magnet tip holder. IMHO this one is simply the best. All the others are either too too short on the drill side & most impact drills can't grasp the end because the flange is in the way, Or the bit side is too deep - and you need pliers to take out the bit, or the bit side is too rough, gets jammed - & again need pliers to take out the bit... This is Both just long enough for it to stay in my Ryobi or Dewalt impact Drill, magnetic enough to keep the bit in, but smooth & shallow enough to not require pliers to remove & swap out a bit... Well Done Bosch, I'm buying more of these for all my tool boxes...
