This stuff is amazing!!!
We don't know how many gophers/moles we had last year (2022) but there were at least 50 holes all over our front yard (and our yard isn't very big). We tried everything we could find to get rid of them until we heard about this product. We got a bag and spread it out in the front and back yards and watered it in and we still had some new gopher/mole holes. It took about 3 bags before the product saturated to ground enough to repel them, but we are gopher/mole free now!! Our neighbors all around us have them, but we don't. We are so happy with this product and know we will continue to use every 6-8 weeks to keep them away!!! Just a note - Please be aware this product doesn't work overnight. It will take a bit to saturate the ground enough so the gophers/moles can smell it and move on!

I think it worked
I think this actually worked. The mole did come back but not in the area we sprayed. We are going to spray the rest of the yard and see what happens. It was super easy to use and I hope it does the trick

Best product on the market! UPDATE
UPDATE FEBRUARY 2025: I had a friend tell me that she cuts the worms in half which doubles the number of worms you can put down. So I tried that and I was able to find 2 dead moles within 3 days of each other. So cutting them in half not only gives you a larger area to cover, but saves you money as well!!We have lived in our house for over 25 years and never had an issue with moles/voles until 2 summers ago. Then all of a sudden we start seeing mole trails everywhere. We purchased and tried everything on the market to try and get rid of these moles. Nothing we bought worked. We even purchased the very expensive ultrasonic solar powered spikes that are supposed to scare the moles away. The moles actually made tunnels all around every single one of the spikes. Like they were laughing at our attempt! Finally, a friend told me about these worms. I didn't think something so simple and so easy-to-use would work but I was desperate to get rid of them so I decided to give them a try. I bought one box of ten and put them in the areas that we noticed the trails. We did notice a decline in activity but still were getting fresh tunnels. So I purchased another box and used all ten worms in the areas of the fresh tunnels. We never had a new tunnel after that. I think we had to use a second box because I believe there were more than one mole. Last year about this time (June) we noticed a fresh tunnel. I put down ten more worms and didn't have any issues for the rest of the summer. Last week, we noticed a new tunnel. I had five worms left from last summers purchase. I put those five down and the very next morning, there was a dead mole exactly on top of one of the places I had put the worm down! Less than 24 hours. Plus the worms had been in our garage all year long opened. But they evidently didn't lose any of their potency. If you read the directions or watch the video, you probably think that is too much work to try to figure out where you should put the worms. I have never went thru all of that. I always put the worms in what ever fresh trails I see. I don't look for their "traveling" trails. I put it in the short trails or long trails. As long as it's a fresh trail and it does the job. So you don't have to wait and watch the trails over 2 or 3 days like they tell you to in the instructions. If you see a trail, stick a worm in it and it works! So glad my friend told me about these. I won't be using anything else. Now if I can find something that works this well on my ant infestation outside!

Probably a good product however.......
I'm sure these worms work fine however in the box of 10 I received all 10 worms were melted and unusable. It's apparent that whoever supplies these to Amazon didn't store them properly and subjected them to heat. Normally this would be a 1 star review however I'm giving the extra stars for Tomcat customer service. After discovering the melted worms I went to their website and used the online chat. It took about 15 minutes for them to verify my purchase and issue me a refund. No hassles with returning the defective product. I still have a mole problem so I went to my local Ace Hardware and bought another box of these worms and they are fine.

They don't do much good if they arrive as melted goo -- a 2020 update
UPDATE --After more than a year of using Sweeney mole worms, which work fine, I took advantage (Ha!) of a discounted price on Tomcat mole worms, giving them another try after the experience you can read below. I purchased four boxes. The first one opened contained melted goo, as in 2017. As I type this, I'm on line with a Tomcat live chat support person, who is working on a refund. I like the mole worms -- they work great -- and I like that they stand behind their products when the manufacturing process goes wrong. What I don't like is that the manufacturing process goes wrong. We own a five-acre property. Most of our neighbors do nothing to control the moles on their five- to 10-acre properties, so many of the moles migrate to us. We get a lot of mole attacks each year. I've purchased most types of mole traps made and used a shotgun. All work, but are a lot more trouble than mole worms, which provide the easiest solution by far. I wish Tomcat could figure out what is going wrong. They make a good product.I had to return my entire last order of Tomcat Mole worms because the worms were melted into their packaging and unusable. I have now purchased five defective boxes of Tomcat Mole worms out of the last six. Obviously, I use a lot of them on our 5-acre rural property and have for several years. This is my second attempt at reviewing the product because of what appears to be an on-going issue with either their shipment or their manufacture. I included photos of the melted worms and a longer review and it was rejected without explanation. The worms do kill moles, but they don't do much good if they arrive as melted goo.
