Very versatile
We use this to repair damage on vintage ceramic christmas trees. Works extremely well, great adhesion and easy to sand. Dries rock hard and takes paint very well.

Works great!
This product is great, is thick, not runny, directions even say that you can add water if you need to. I bought a cheap camp wood stove and they didn't even weld the ring on for chimney pipe like they should have. So I got this product and plastered it on using my finger with a disposable glove as one other review said.I let harden for 24 hours like the directions said, and started off with a small fire.So far is holding up. Will update if it falls apart.

Worked great to repair our smoker.
I used this product to repair the broken firebox in our green egg smoker. Worked better than I expected. Our smoker blew off the end of the patio in these recent high winds and fell over. I was amazed to find the only damage was the ceramic internal fire box broken into 3 pieces. I read how other people have used this product in similar situations. I followed the directions on the can and wet the edges of the firebox before applying the cement with a small trowel. Next I pulled the segments together firmly by hand and saw the excess cement squeeze out of the joints. I bound the entire box together in place with several wraps of wire and left for about 1/2hour. Then I used wet rags to smooth the excess cement. That created a very smooth surface. I left the repaired firebox sit for 2-3 days and was surprised to find it stayed together surprisingly well to allow installation into the smoker. The repaired joints were rock hard. Just like glass. I fired up the smoker and maintained a low temperature (200 F) for 2 hours. Haven’t cooked yet but feel sure it’s back to normal. Very effective way to restore our smoker. Very pleased.

Furnace Cement
This stuff is AWESOME!!!! I have never used a product like this before, but the directions were great and the product was relatively easy to work with as well. I used it to patch the inside of stove this past winter... just a quick fix. However, it stayed all winter and I'm not even sure if I will pay a welder to come in and fix it for next winter. This is holding so well...

used for years
stuff is great for sealing my stove pipe to wood stove....if you cover with plastic wrap and press out air between wrap and the cement, it will last from season to season....

Half of container was hard when we received it.
I purchased this to seal my stove pipe. When I opened the container it was hard half way down. I was able to use what was in bottom but disappointed that it arrived this way.
