Quality authentic weber part,
Arrived in Weber packaging. Grids were sealed, and very heavy, nice quality authentic Weber product, that fit my Genesis Grill perfectly. I measured the grids first than looked on the weber web site. (also found the grills model # inside the panel under the grill.) if you go to the site and the parts section it will walk you threw a few questions to give to the proper grids to order. I decided to order from amazon because of the faster shipping since my old grids were porcelain coated cast-iron that we're chipping apart and After eating few pieces in the last hamburgers it was time to Order a new set. After much reading I read about this stainless steel upgrade since my original grids cast iron didn't last very long, I figured this was the best route to go. They're just as heavy as the cast-iron I think and I can see them lasting a very long time. So if in doubt about what product number to order as far as the size for your grill the weber website can give you those answers.

Better than the cast iron grates...
Got these after I abused the cast iron grates that came with our grill. I had been incorrectly cleaning and caring for them. Love these grates though! I do the grilling in our house and I will say that personally these are way better than the cast iron. Easier to clean and they hold up much better than the cast iron. I also find that the food doesn't stick as much with these. Because of their round shape in comparison to the triangular shape of the cast iron, cleaning is easier with the split 2 headed weber brush that I also bought on amazon. Which by the way works great as well and is well constructed which doesn't make me worry that pieces of metal are going to end up in my food. These stainless steel grates take all the guesswork out of maintenance and are just overall a better product. I recommend them fully.

Perfect for the Weber Genesis E-320!
We bought our grill in 2008, since then we have replaced the grates twice. Just having done this, we had purchased this set. They fit perfect and looked great. There comes a time when cleaning the grates doesn't work so well anymore. I've done it before and it can take hours, lots of cleaners and too much effort. We bought this and it's like we have a new grill! I also bought: Weber # 65054 Raised Warming Rack for 3 Burner Weber Genesis 300 series grills and Weber 7539 Porcelain-Enameled Flavorizer Bars - Fits Genesis 300 Series Gas Grills with Side-Mounted Control Panel from different sellers but if you want to complete the set, this is exactly what you would need to replace everything inside other than the burners or cables. Also, I found the carefully washing the knobs with the Magic Eraser sponge, the stains were gone! Just don't wipe the grill logo off on the knobs, you'll have to clean around that.

I wish I had known about these sooner
I used these for the first time today and I think this may have been a life changing purchase.I've had an E-330 for 5 years and I just junked my 3rd set (original + 2 replacement sets) of the enameled cast iron grates. Within a few months the CI starts to rust, and once its started there's nothing you can do to stop it. Before long there's crunchy flecks of metal in your food. Everything sticks to it too no matter how much oil you use. Oddly enough in each set I've only had 1 grate that rusted really bad, while the other only rusted a little. This was by far the most frustrating thing about the grill. In search of replacements I came across the stainless steal version. I wish I had known about these sooner. Out of the box they seemed of reasonable quality. For the price there could have been a little bit more metal, but it's not objectionable. I gave them an initial seasoning by burning them off at 500F, then gave them a coating of spray cooking oil, followed by a 20 minute bake at 400F.After the first cook I was utterly shocked to find that my food didn't stick at all. Usually i can barely make a burger on the CI without it falling apart because its glued to the metal. These released right away. The food came out with nice grill marks.Unfortunately I think these grates will outlive the grill though. When i put them in I used the opportunity to give the grill a thorough cleaning. During that time i found that the lid, firebox and heat reflectors all have extensive rust as well. I don't expect it'll be around 2 more years to find out if these grates can outlast the CI.

Fits the Weber Genesis E-330 Perfectly ...
We use our Weber Genesis E-330 – also purchased from Amazon - daily and, on most days, we use it twice. After 2 ½ years, the enameled cast-iron grates were starting to show the wear. I checked with Weber’s Customer Service; they assured me the “Weber 7528 Stainless Steel Cooking Grates” could replace the original grates.Weber manufactures the “Weber 7528 Stainless Steel Cooking Grates” in the United States. That is important to me when purchasing items on which I am cooking my meals. The solidly built, stainless steel grates are heavy and their quality is apparent. They fit perfectly on the Weber Genesis E-330.I searched the web for a better price than Amazon’s – there was not one from a trusted e-tail store or retailer. When you use Super Saver Shipping, the savings, even with tax, is still better than most other sources. I ordered the “Weber 7528 Stainless Steel Cooking Grates” on September 15 and they were delivered on the 20th.

Great grates, very grateful
The original cast iron grates that came with my new Weber were awful. Like in other reviews, the food stuck like a fly on a windshield. I tried flipping the grate over thinking I must've installed incorrectly. So decided to purchase these. Then I asked all of you if I has to season the grates. The answer is no, do not season them. A big waste of time. Anyhow, these work flawlessly and I can cook king salmon directly on these new stainless grates with no sticking whatsoever. Just a couple of scrapes underneath with a spatula from time to time. That is the litmus test with these grates, does sticky salmon stick? The answer is no. Great grates, very grateful!
