Excellent, challenging crossword puzzle book for the average intellect...
The Mega Crossword Puzzle Book #2 is probably the 5th crossword puzzle book I ordered from Simon & Schuster. Solving crossword puzzles is one of the ways to enhance mental acuity as you get older. For some reason, I find this version to be a little bit more challenging to solve than previous versions...but, still a load of fun! 5 stars!

Challenging Puzzles
I like Simon & Schuster crossword puzzles, they're a challenge and also being able to pull the puzzle page from the book, makes it easier for me to work on, less cumbersome.

Stimulate your brain every day!
Crossword puzzles are proven to improve brain function, memory, and knowledge. It's like a Jeopardy round on paper with subjects like: geography, literature, history, science, sports, movies, tv, food, politics, pop culture, etc. There's also the satisfaction of finishing one (answers are in the back just in case!) Each book has 300 puzzles, keeping you busy every day for nearly a year. I've ordered 22 of them over the years. True story.

Excellent push-ups for the brain
My husband loves these crossword books. He started them about 6 months ago & he actually asked me if I could get more. That is a first. He has finished 8 full books now, & his vocabulary has improved. While this is irritating, I do like that crosswords & most puzzles are known to help with cognition in the aged.

Nice combo of medium to hard puzzles
This is my second book. Loved the first one decided to buy the second one. Puzzles are challenging and keep your mind active. Very thematic. I like the fact that you can tear out the puzzle you are working on.
