Excellent multifunctional cervical neck traction device
I bought this cervical neck traction device because my son is been experiencing pain mostly due to poor posture and tight muscles. This cervical neck traction device is very efficient and effective pain relief that stems from bad posture, muscle tightness, spinal pressure, disc alignment, and more. My son used it twice and her neck pain went away since. Another great thing is that is compact and lightweight, making it easy to use and to store. This device uses a combination of therapeutic techniques to relieve instances of muscle tightness, spinal pressure, neckbone tension, and more, which makes this amazing machine an all-in-one unit that delivers adjustable electrotherapy, heat therapy, and multifunction air traction. This cervical traction device creates incline traction electronically, which helps realign vertebrae discs for pain relief caused by bad posture, injury, or alignment. The ergonomic design and lightweight structure of the Dynamic Cervical Traction Device make it easy to use. Some of the great features Adjustable settings for comfort Multifunctional therapy device Lightweight and compact The control on this device is very easy to use Offers heat, electro therapy and multifunctional air traction all in one device The Neck Traction Device delivers pneumatic cervical traction to lift the head away from the neck which helps relieve the pressure of compressed nerves in the spine and neck. The gentle stretching of the spinal cord helps improve blood circulation through the cervical spine and oxygenate the muscles. Excellent highly recommended.

I wish I’d discovered this sooner! Worth it!
I discovered this when I started acupuncture. My therapist(s) there use it during part of my session. Even the sounds it makes somehow help soothe me. The remote makes it effortless to setup/start, and since it’s attached you can’t lose it. Major plus. The heat and electricity options (like a TENS unit IYNYK) are great. That heated pulse lightly rolling at the base of your neck is a great feeling. It comes with some detachable pads as well with a diagram on where to place them for shock-therapy. Some use them, some don’t. I was able to use this while I let the pads do their magic on my wife’s sore forearm after using spray cans for 2 hours (she shouldn’t listened to a close relative of hers that suggested an easier way…..but I digress). I do this at least twice a day. I think the automatic setting is 15 minutes, so think Power Nap type thing. I put a weighted sleep mask on, have the Alexa play spa music(or use earphones/buds), and stretch out on my bed or floor until my timer goes off. It doesn’t take up much room. I slip mine next to the side of my bed. It’s better to use laying down flat, but can be used at the top of a wedge pillow or couch. This device is quiet, not loud at all. You hear a little noise during operation but quickly become numb to it or entranced (did I spell that right? Words are hard). The only thing I would suggest is about 8-10 more inches on the power cable. Other than that. Get it. Use it. Love it. You’ll be able to look back on the purchase with a smile. Because it was worth it……and your neck works better! Hazaa! I’ll be getting one of these for my pregnant daughter!

Does not release pressure or tension
I read the reviews in hope at this price it would work; however, that was not the case. Does not relieve neck pain.

Works fine, good for some things
I like that it’s easy to use. It does just what it says, and moves as expected. It’s best if used laying on the floor, but is a little high for a smaller statured person. Provides some pain relief during use, but pain comes back shortly after you’re done. Overall it’s fine, worth trying to see if it works for you and your kind of neck and head pain.

No more sore neck or muscle aches after work outs (takes time to get used to)
I got this as I have been feeling more neck sores from working from home a lot more. I have been wanting something that does a good neck massage as well as the option of other part of the body. This one does take up a good amount of space so be aware of that before purchase. This particular unit is really nice all around device to have for massaging. One thing I will say is that it does take time to get used to as it uses electrical pulses. It can be a bit intense for some so start at a lower level and make your way up as needed. Also when laying on it, it does take time to get used to the uncomfortable feeling. I would recommend that you adjust the height to comfort. It has three different high settings. It is durable and can support the weight of our neck and head. It is not a pillow so it is a bit of a harder surface so be awrae of that. For the neck part, the device does not rub against my skin or cause any irritation to my neck. The heating part is nice to relax the muscles. It took the crink out of my neck for sure. The next thing is that this device is not really heavy so you can easily store this. It is not a cordless massager so you will need to find a plug and be stuck in one location. The wire does have a good amount of length. It has several different options to set for your comfort. The nice thing about this is that I am able to use it on other parts of my body. After a long jog and work out, I can attach the patches and massage it out. It makes me less sore after work outs. The one down side is that I am worry about the patches not being able to adhere as well in the future and not sure where the replacements are. The wires plug into the side of the device and for the most have a good amount of length. The wires are a bit thin which makes me worried about if it gets caught but it does the job. It does have a timer so you do not have to worry about over using the device. Again it provides heat to your muscles to help relieve the tension follow by pulses to help relax your muscles. For me, my neck fit around the piece pretty well and was able to work on my neck easily. The only thing I had to adjust was the height. Adjusting the height is pretty simple and the mechanics inside locks well so you do not have to worry about it collapsing and you hitting your head. It is not the most compact thing but you could take it on the go with you if you need it on trips. This is a great thing to use right after a long day at work. It helps me with my neck strain from sitting at a desk too long. You can take a break and use it while working from home which is nice. It is not too intense of a setting that would cause any discomfort however use your best judgement. Overall this is a great massager to have if you are okay with electrical pulses rather than vibrations. It takes time to get used to so again use it at low intensity and work your way up to your comfort. It really does a good job with reducing muscle pains. I actually use this for about an hour and feel less pain in the morning. It is easy to adjust and very powerful. Only thing I have a concern about is when the pads need to be replaced in the future.

The cure for 'Tech/Text/Turtle Neck' syndrome.
I have been using computers for over 40 years and have developed what they call 'Tech/Text/Turtle Neck' syndrome. I don't have any pain, just a horrible head forward posture which is AMAZINGLY getting better because of this device. I have tried numerous other things (a door mounted head traction harness for one) and none has worked like this. The chiropractors use what are called McKenzie Cervical Rolls, which are various shaped pillows that lift the neck--just like this machine does! The machine is cheaper than chiropractic therapy and it is dynamic. Like a top end neck massage and there is heat as well. It also has a TENS unit built in, but I have not found much use for that feature. You can select various modalities with this, but the basic massage and heat functions for fifteen minutes a session does it for me. Neck feels great and improvement in posture is noticeable!

This has been a God send!
This gave me instant relief. I’ve been using this for several weeks and it is a lifesaver. This is extremely easy to use. I work in a office answering phones and I go home at the end of the night with a stiff neck and this is exactly what I needed. The heat message is perfect for my achy bones. It has different settings and I suggest starting at the lowest in the beginning, but it’s nice that you can choose. It has a timer which is really a nice feature. It is on the light side so you can bring it from room to room if needed. It’s a nice size cord so it’s not limited to where it will reach. The days I use this I am in less pain considerably so that’s something you can’t put a price on. Worth every penny!

NOT Traction
I'm in physical therapy now for neck issues and receive cervical traction as part of the therapy. I don't understand how the vendor can claim this device provides traction. It does not. Traction devices lengthen the spine, pulling the head away from the shoulders. This device simply presses upwards into the cervical spine. It's as if this device is trying to pummel the vertebrae into a natural curve. This is particularly painful and counter-productive for anyone who has a straightened cervical spine and/or degenerative disk issues. I spent a painful 15 minutes on this device, with a subsequent tightening up of neck muscles to the point that the next day, my physical therapist wondered what had happened to cause such a significant backslide. While I'm happy for the reviewers who gave this 4 or 5 stars and reported receiving benefit, it worsened my condition and I would never recommend this as a home therapy device to anyone with a straightened cervical spine. The heat and electric pulse therapies are potentially useful ancillaries, but were pointless since the device failed in it's primary purpose. The positives: the device appeared to be well-made and sturdy. I expect it would hold up to repeated use. It was also easy to use. I'm just not clear what it's appropriate therapeutic use is. P.S. the vendor contacted me by email, offering a $50 refund if I would modify or delete my negative review, in violation of Amazon community standards. When buyers accept these bribes, it completely undermines the value of Amazon reviews.
