well made
these fittings are well made I would say on the heavy side .locking nut spins on with ease no binding, threads are cut with precision. I am not using them for a tank system but for another application. that being said I think it would be good a idea if the fittings came with a hard paper stock (friction washer)as you tighten lock nut against rubber washer the washer tends to twist with lock nut and does not give a good seal ,so I made a friction washer and it solved the problem. other than that these are perfect for me.would recommend them to anyone

Gaskets are too soft.
The Gaskets will just squeeze out from behind the flanges because the rubber is way, way too soft... If you are looking for Brass bulkheads for an industrial application and thinking these will offer a better seal because of the rubber gaskets, they will not... You cannot tighten the fitting to a decent torque because of the soft rubber... The best solution I have found is to use the real brass bulkheads that come with a metal lock nut on them, just discard the lock nut and place a large steel washer on outside of the tank, use a strong silicone caulk behind the washer to create a seal...

Absolute garbage
Tried attaching three different hoses, all brand new with new o-rings. Each one leaks significantly where it connects to the bulkhead. I can’t believe junk like this is being sold on Amazon.

This product does not have NPT tapered pipe thread.
I purchased the 1" × 3/4". The company stated in the Q&A that the 3/4" thread was NPT. It is not, it is a straight thread not a tapered thread. I was unable to get to fitting to seal to a 3/4" "NPT" fitting. It's a well machined product but without the advertised npt thread it cost me allot of rework.

Didn't get what I ordered.
I ordered a Joywayus 1/2" Female 3/4" Male NPT Solid Brass Water Tank Connector but I received a B07SDCYLS8 1/2" Female x 3/4 Male GHT. GHT is not the same as NPT.By the time I discovered their error, the connector had been installed so now I have to order an adapter.

Leaks
I tried different levels of tightness - it still drips through the fitting. See the picture. I think the washers are way too soft and the brass rim is too narrow, so if you tighten it nicely, it distorts the washers and causes a leak. If not very tight - still leaks. I tried it on a big Rubbermaid 32 gal can; maybe it would work better on a flat wall tank but I don't have one

almost great
My only dislike was that the internal thread on the tube is apparently straight pipe and tapered pipe threads should tighten up into them at some point. It took a good number of teflon tape wrappings to snug up the fitting i put into it. I used it in a vertical igloo cooler serving as a mash tun and it worked fine.

Will not work on plastic barrels
Piece is heavy duty, but as other reviewers have noted, the rubber washer supplied will move out of the way when tightened. I believe though if used on the right application such as a square metal tank they would work fine. But on round plastic barrel they will not. It will leak like a sieve. Return was easy as is most amazon returns.

Well made brass fittings
The fittings are well made. No thread burrs and the male/female threads mate well and are adequately tight. The male and female threads are straight cut so tapered pipe thread fittings with PTFE tape tighten nicely. The rubber washers included are soft and while they may be ok for some installations I made some thick fiber reinforced vibram washers for my installation which is a cooling tank for a big stationary engine. No leaks of 200F glycol in my case. They are a bit pricey up in Canada but worth the $ and would buy again.

Very odd threads
So yes the outside thread seems like 1 NPT but it is non tapered and is probably at the outer tolerance of NPT diameter, there for it will not fit in other female NPT metal fittings and may fit in plastic female treads, but I would not thread metal male into plastic female. Did not check the internal treads to verify what they are. The item was returned.

Lousy washers...
The whole point of this thing is to make a seal on a barrel. The washers squished out from under the flanges at the slightest tightness, and were then useless. I needed to use marine epoxy to achieve a good seal

Good quality brass and threads, Bushings are too soft
The brass fittings and threads are good quality, but the rubber bushings are too soft and push out the sides way too much as you tighten.

Strong, but wrong thread's
The ad says 1" male 3/4" female... The 1" threads are too Course, they do not fit 1" national pipe threads. The 3/4" female threads are a little bit loose. It does take 3/4" National pipe threads nicely though
