Fun game
Grandkids age 2-5 love this game. The pig "pops" close to the end of feeding so the anticipation builds. We flex the rules to suit the ages. May be a little harder for the youngest to pump, but they figure it out.

Belly Busting Fun for Family Game Night!
**Pop the Pig** has quickly become a favorite in our household for family game night with our grandkids! The concept is simple yet hilarious: feed the pig burgers and watch his belly grow until he pops. The anticipation and excitement keep everyone engaged, from kids to adults.**Gameplay:** The rules are easy to understand, making it accessible for younger children (ages 2 and up) while still being entertaining for older kids and adults. The element of surprise when the pig's belly finally pops creates lots of laughter and excitement.**Educational Value:** While it's primarily a fun game, it also helps younger kids with counting and fine motor skills as they insert the burgers into the pig's mouth.**Safety:** The game includes small parts, so it's important to keep it away from children under 3 years old to avoid choking hazards.**Value for Money:** At $19.97, it's an affordable addition to our game collection. Considering the hours of fun and laughter it provides, it's definitely worth the investment.**Overall:** **Pop the Pig** is a fantastic choice for a fun family game night. The combination of simple rules, exciting gameplay, and educational value makes it a hit with kids and adults alike. Highly recommended!

Four Year Old Nephew LOVED this!
My little nephew is nearly 4 years old and this was the smash hit of his party. He played this with everyone that attended over and over and still really likes it according to his parents.

Cute game, I wish it came with more pieces!
This is a really cute, simple game that we’ve enjoyed playing. The pieces look more like macarons, so we call them “cookies” instead of hamburgers. One big drawback to the game is that there are just barely enough cookies to finish the game each time and we frequently run out of a particular color before the game is up. Also, I do worry about losing one of the cookies; they’re small and tend to go rolling when they get knocked on the floor. I once had to tear the kitchen apart to find a missing one. You can order a second set of them from the Goliath website for like $7 but I wish the game just came with like 24 instead of 16 so that you could still play if one or two got lost.

Fun and easy to clean up active game
It's an adorable, fun, fast moving game. The little "hamburgers" have numbers 1 through 4 for each color and the children love putting it in the pig's mouth, and pressing down the pig's head to watch his stomach "pop" open.Young children love this game.

Introduced to this game by an Occupational Tgerapist, had to have my own!
My son is a few months shy of 4 years old. He sees a speech therapist for a language disorder and also sees an OT for sensory purposes and and social communication issues (goes hand in hand with the language delay). One issue he has is staying regulated once frustrated, and with turn taking. It was months that we saw his OT weekly, before games were introduced. For the past month, they have spent a short time each week, playing this game.I didn't read about the various ways to play, I only know how our OT presented it. The gist of it is, the pig is fed food, you pump his head 5 times if the food has a 5 on it, 3 pumps if it has 3, etc. With each pump, the pig's belly expands until finally, his belt pops open Pop the Pig!The first week, her goal was just for him to put the "food" into his mouth. This is great fine motor practice, and a practice in patience since the task was not initially easy for him.The next week she asked him to name the number, then out the food in. Then she would help him pump the pig's head the corresponding amount of times. This part is hard for him, not sure how easy it would be for other kids. The last two weeks, she added turn taking and asking for specific colors. This might sound simple to you, but for my child these were all big accomplishments- being able to expand the play. He lives when that belt pops open! Each week my son would run to her game closet and pull out Pop The Pig. After the second week I put it in my Amazon wish list and I recently ordered, and received it. It will be a Christmas gift.I can see my five year old enjoying this game with her brother, and I know my 11 year old will join in his younger siblings play, too.I think there is tremendous value in this game, both for typical children, and those with different needs.
