Excited to begin!
Received the book today, so I can't provide much detail. I am however excited to begin this with my teenage girls (13). Briefly reading through the first "Quest" it seems very attainable for a teen/ beginner. Individual lessons and activities that build upon each other and encouraged to practice frequently before moving on. It seems to thoroughly explain the internal dialog we experience and explains the reasons behind why the exercises are helpful, which is very important for context. The free bonuses are a wonderful bonus, I'm looking forward to printing pages off so the girls can practice the exercises many times before movong on. Also great to have a tangible book option as well as an ebook option. The parent guide looks very beneficial as well. Im Looking forward to introducing my girls to it and helping them build skills that will last a lifetime.

Engaged child!
I got this for my son, he's got a few diagnoses and struggles with himself and others. While he's struggling at home, school and with friends getting him to read books or watch videos on self help were obviously boring.I don't know what's different about this book but he's actually reading it and practicing. I know it's not going to magically help over night but I'm definitely hopeful, the 10 tips book for parents that was emailed has been really helpful to. I already feel a bit less stressed with all the things that can come with a teenager, that stuff really creeps up on you I was massively unprepared. The tips are helping us be more understanding with him and be better parents. It's been 2 months, and already he's getting comments from school about how well he's handling things, his head asked what changed because he's coming on so well. He still has a bit to go but my god this is really helping. 2 of my friends have said what's different, I sent them this link.

Amazing DBT skills workbook filled with fun
This DBT workbook for teenagers is full of fun activities and excersises which make things much more easier for a teen to work through, without having to sit through pages filled with just writing. I love that the workbook is gamified, and has quests which the teen has to complete to go forward in the book. This gives incentive and inspires teens to propell forwards.I also love the illustrations and the great explenations for skills. This book is a must have in a DBT collection!!
