I have loved every single Susanna Kearsley's books. And this one is as extraordinary as her other ones. This book was wonderful and really magical. It is quality historical fiction and unusually kept me up late with the twists and turns. Well written as usual by SK and exciting. She really does weave her words in a beautiful way.

Not my favourite of her books by a long stretch. Leant far too much on the history and facts to the detriment of the story in my opinion.
