The orangutans at our zoo love fabric of various types
Although our use is far from what the product is intended for, it has been a huge hit. The orangutans at our zoo love fabric of various types, and when it was suggested to us that this might be something new for them to enjoy, we placed an order. We continue to order and they love wrapping themselves up in it.As mentioned in our review, this is very popular, especially with Lucy!

Undersized
I ordered a 10 x 20 piece and it is maybe 9.5 feet wide. I haven't measured the length yet but I needed every bit of the 10 ft wide and was cheated. Not sure yet if I will have to return it or if we can work around it. It was intended to cover a hoop frame for growing cucumbers. So sad that people can't measure and sell a piece of fabric that is the correct size.

Cleanest veggies ever
Amazing stuff! Fabric is way stronger and lets in far more light than any row cover I ever used. Easy to see thru at what’s going on in there, to. The best part? These are the absolute cleanest, healthiest veggies I have ever grown. No cabbage loopers, flea beetles, etc, a lot less slugs. Very easy to water thru. Some rows are covered to keep squirrels from burying peanuts there, birds from scratching up seedlings in search of mealworms flicked from the feeder, neighbor cats from flattening crops while laying in wait for mealworm seeking birds. For years I had dreamed of a hydroponic greenhouse so I could have clean garden produce. Well, got my dream this year with this mosquito netting and it was a whole lot easier and cheaper than building a hydroponic system. Have already ordered my second 10’x50’ piece.

Good for limited use.
I read about the frayed edges before purchase and perhaps that's not a big deal if the size you choose covers what you want with spare. I bought to compare for future purchases, this and a similar more expensive item for low hoop tunnels over my vegetables. For the price, the 20% more expensive one I expect a longer lifetime with less repairs and replacement. It's higher weight stronger material and the edges are seamed. For me when I have thousands of lineal feet of crop to protect, I would go with the more expensive sturdier material that will reduce downtime.

Great Grasshopper Barrier
Experiencing a drought and having grasshopper problems for the first time in the 6 years I’ve been gardening in my current location. I couldn’t get most plants past the seedling stage due to grasshoppers. I place this over my raised beds, right on top of the ground and voila! - no more eaten leaves. As the plants grew I added some short stakes to get the netting off of them, though probably not necessary. If the invasion had been worse, I would have put it over hoops, but for now the plants are surviving some chewing after they are bigger. One CAUTION - This stuff is extremely slippery. I rolled it out on my wood floor to cut it, stepped on it, and it was almost lights out for me. I can’t stress enough how dangerous it is to step on two or more layers over a hard surface!

Good netting
I purchased this netting to cover my peach tree and protect it not only from birds but also Japanese beetles. I applied double-sided tape to the top and stick-on Velcro strips to the sides to make a tree bag. It would work great if it were big enough. I need to get twice as much to go all the way around the tree. I've used a pole to lift it over the tree and have had to reposition it over pointy branches, but it hasn't torn or raveled.

Expensive, but good quality
Although it’s expensive, it’s a good quality mesh...I used it to capture berries that fall on my deck in spring off an overhanging tree. I used clothes pins to hang it below the branches and use it as a net...working well so far, even in heavy winds and rain. I think I’ll buy one for my pool to keep the leaves out!

Bug, insect, bird net barrier
This net was hopeless because the holes in the net were large enough to let in any insect who chose to and small birds. Recent advice is not to use this sort of net and some birds have become stuck and died as a result. Not recommended.

Easy to cut and fold around wooden frames and does ...
I bought this to cover frames for my garden planters. The mesh is strong and works well at keeping bugs and butterflies away from my vegetables whilst still letting in rain and sun. Easy to cut and fold around wooden frames and does not rot.
