Seems like a quality product. Made in USA.
It is rare these days to find a supplement that is packed in a glass bottle instead of plastic, plus it is made in USA. Personally I prefer to avoid plastic, although it is not possible these days. Who knows how much plastic we consume in food and air, and at what point it becomes a problem?Pycnogenol is said to be beneficial and has been around for a while in the form of a tea made from bark. I looked up Pycnogenol on WebMD, which is usually quite critical of supplements. They actually had positive things to say as far as it being helpful for allergies and likely for a few other conditions. Possible side effects are dizziness or upset stomach. I did not have either of these, and I am fairly sensitive. The inactive ingredients seem to be okay. If you are allergic to coconut oil or palm oil, you might want to contact the company to find out the source of the vegetable stearate.

Might be good
I’d never heard of this supplement. I have Ehler Dahlos syndrome and there’s a recommended list of supplements from doctors in the U.K. This is one of them, so I started taking it. Does it help? I have no idea. Is this brand any good? Again, I have no idea. It’s impossible for a person without a lab and a clinical trial to say whether a supplement is any good. Still, I’m taking it. All I can say is that it hasn’t, as far as I know, done me any harm.

Pic-noj-e-nol
Pycnogenol® (pronounced pic-noj-e-nol) is a proprietary French formula of tannin from European maritime pine bark. Just this description makes the product intriguing to me. First a confession: I curate more than ten different supplements that I take on a mostly daily schedule. My selection is based on a good deal of research, but I also like trying new (to me) products like this one. A few of my supplements are also antioxidants and promote cardiovascular health, but this product appears to operate and help in its own way. Additionally, it might have anti-diabetic properties and even help (indirectly) with erectile dysfunction (i.e., increased blood flow). My personal and only caveat here is the cost. Not knowing how complex and expensive it is to produce this particular supplement, I can't say that it's "overpriced" but only that it might be too rich for my normal budget unless it produces rather dramatic results in the long term. Finally, it might seem like a small thing, but I appreciate the company's use of a glass bottle instead of plastic.

50mg Pycnogenol Pine Bark extract, easy to swallow tablet
This bottle of Natural Nutra Pycnogenol contains 30 tablets, with each tablet containing 50mg of Pycnogenol. For many years I've been taking Pycnogenol, or a different brand of Pine Bark extract, so I was interested in trying this brand's Pycnogrnol tablets. The tablets are average size and have a slick coating to them so they are easy to swallow. The directions on the bottle say to take with food, so I followed directions and did so. No stomach upset or anything followed, so that was good. These tablets are about what I expect from Pycnogenol, however only having 30 capsules in a bottle, and each capsule being 50mg, at the current price this sells for, there are other Pycnogenol options out there at a similar price that contain more milligrams of Pycnogenol per serving. Though, if 50mg is your target dose of Pycnogenol, and you prefer tablets, this is a decent option for easy to swallow tablets containing 50mg of Pycnogenol.

Seems To Work But Is Expensive
Pycnogenol is an extract from maritime pine bark. It is rich in a variety of compounds similar to what is found in grape seed extract and cocoa. I started taking it some after reading it can improve skin elasticity. It also has been shown to improve nitric oxide in the blood, so may have circulatory benefits. My main issue with pycnogenol is that it is pretty expensive, and other supplements seem to work better for the benefits you can get from pycnogenol at half the cost. This is nothing related to this brand. Pycnogenol is expensive no matter where you get it from because it is a patented extract. Regular pine bark is similar and cheaper.

I will be taking this for my joints
I don't have an issue with circulation, but the joints are needing some loving care. I will try this to see if the antioxidants also help keep me healthy during the winter.
