Not easy to use and take paper backing off alone It was a 2 person job but the wind was blowing and I was doing it outside We have had high winds and my ripped up tarp has held amazing the horses are not pulling it off line they did the duck tape this stuff is amazing I think it’s the ability to flex that really does the job Totally impressed

Flex Tape 8 inch
I bought a roll of Flex Tape 8 inches wide. It is thick, strong and easy to work with. You peel off the cellophane backing to expose the sticky side when you are ready to use it. It’s way thicker than duct tape, stronger and super sticky. Make sure you get it on exactly where you want it. It’s hard to get it off if you don’t have it line up. You can move it , but pull it up slowly and a little at a time. I like the idea it comes in colors too. Mine is white. I highly recommend this tape. I’m curious as too how long it holds up to the elements. But right now it looks great. One roll is 5 ft , so for bigger jobs, measure first and buy the appropriate amount of rolls. Great stuff. !!

Yes this works, just make sure you know where you want it to go because once it's in place, it ain't going anywhere.
When they say this stuff is sticky, they aren't kidding. When you take it off the roll and cut it to the size you want, you better know where you want this stuff to go, because once it's there, it ain't moving. Don't wear gloves when trying to use it because if the sticky side touches your gloves, it will be near to impossible to get it off. I used this stuff on some cheap plastic gutters that needed a temporary fix until some new ones are ordered and installed and I can say wherever I put the tape, it hasn't leaked and it stays in place. This is some of the most amazing tape I have used to fix holes and leaks.

Do not buy from FairAffairs Inc.
Do not buy from FairAffairs Inc. It took over a month for delivery and tracking information was false. I received a clear thin vinyl tape that failed to work. It's not the same product that I expected. I've purchased this before and it is a white thick tape.

Nice sturdy length
The product works very well. I have it outside on a white steel front door and white aluminum siding. The door was rotting out and with the Flex Tape it is now sealed and water proof and looks great front a distance you cannot tell the tape is on. For the siding it is holding corner pieces together and keeping it water tight. No heavy rain coming in now.

The manufacturer was no help, my emails were ignored. This material, in my hands, was impossible to use for the following reasons: 1. Usage requires dividing the roll into the proper size. Upon cutting -off a six inch rectangle, the user faces the necessity of removing the clear plastic 'liner', which at best is almost impossible. Why? if one uses hands, the adhesive sticks to the hands and each movement of the hands makes it possible for the adhesive to stick to itself--which it does. When it does forget it--it is thereafter unusable. If you use gloves (nitrile for example) the adhesion is complete and you'll never get the glove released. 2. However, a small portion of material left made it possible for me to test the adhesive quality on the roof material I was trying to repair. The claim is that it sticks even "under water." The area I tested might have been very slightly moist, but was an area covered by "FlexPaste," a product made by the same company. The test demonstrated NO ADHESION! None at all. Thus, because of these test results, I cannot recommend this product.

I used this product to repair the liner on a above-ground swimming pool. The liner was slipping somewhat from the coping. This product was used, hopefully as a permanent repair. It was quite easy to apply. The adhesion to the top of the liner and the coping appeared to be quite good. However, only time will tell as to its permanency. Also I should add , that even though part of the area that was being joined was underwater, this did not seem to impact the application negatively.

It's very difficult for one person to deal with longer pieces as the roll tends to stick to itself. Having another person to keep that from happening is almost a must.

Purchased this for the repair of a hole in a vinyl hot tub liner. Used as directed, but it failed completely after 2 or 3 days. Tried it again…same result

I have sealed a softball size hole in my above ground pool that is 5ft x 12 ft. I didn't put any pressure on it and left it for 7-8 hrs before I filled the pool and it works beautifully!!!

I like how it handles, it moulds to fit contours very well. Thickness and adhesion gives you confidence that it might last for years. There were some stress cracks in the fibreglass top on our popup tent trailer, (not now).
