Strong, durable, long-lasting, inexpensive.
I've used these rods for fishing Carp and Catfish for many years, so I brutalize them each season. They hold up well after hundreds of large, hard-fighting fish.

very nice rod it has good action and lots of backbone its fiberglass so slightly heavier than a carbon rod but for the price an excellent rod . put a bait feeder reel on this and it cant be beat .

Good value and now matches my Sweepfire 2500-2B
Feels great, good back bone and I like the heavier feel. I'm comfortable slinging it with out fear of snapping it. Good buy indeed.

Received different than pictured.
Giving a 2 star because the description is not what I received the picture shows a whole different design then what I got. I will give it a try.

Effective - Sensitive - Durable Daiwa
Gifting this to a grandson is a joy. Seeing his thrilled expression when his first, second, third and fourth laded fish is in his hands before releasing -- well, that is pure delight. The rod is a perfect sensitivity for detecting the nibbles and sturdy for the tension that makes the catch get weary and surrender. I highly recommend this fishing rod and will buy more to gift family and neighborhood friends.
