I’m completely satisfied with my purchase. Our bedroom window faces west and it already stays light out until ten pm where we live. I wanted a way to darken our room and on that aspect they’re awesome. My only suggestion to any seekers of total darkness is to mount your curtain rod to the ceiling. This will allow the curtains to be closer to the window. It will also maximize their ability to block light by bringing the topmost portion of the curtains well above the top sill of the window. We mounted our curtain rod just above our window and to the wall. This still allows some light into the room. It’s not enough to warrant reinstalling the curtain rod though. I’ll remember this when we move for next time. When I read that they were insulated for temp and sound I gave little consideration to those benefits. I was very surprised by how much cooler the room stays and how much quieter it is. We live in an apartment and on weekends neighbors often congregate on their porches. Normal conversation could be disturbing let alone drunk people talking. These conversations are much less noticeable after the installation. Also, some of our neighbors start their vehicles (diesel trucks) early in the morning and let them idle. The sound this makes no longer wakes us up. The only thing I wish I had now was an automatic curtain rod that would open the curtains at a certain time. I can’t sleep if it’s getting light out and the room is so dark now that I’ve been sleeping in. I can probably find one on Amazon so I’m in the right place, lol.

Finally found the perfect blackout curtains. My room is pitch black even during the day. Don't think twice. Just get them

Shipping was excellent and arrived in good shape. Virtually wrinkle free right out of the package. The material is better quality than expected at this price point. They block out light and made room cooler immediately. My wife loves them!

Keeping only because they are still somehow better than my other “blackout” curtains....the grommets on these curtains are really a major design flaw. Sure it looks nice, but they let wayyyyy too much light in. May have to throw a towel over the top to sleep during my night shift rotations :( bummer

I purchased the white curtains (which are a greyish white, not pure white) about a month ago. As someone who lives in a very sunny area, they completely block out the sunlight! They did come wrinkled, but they are very soft! My cat likes to sit in the window and the black outing of the curtains does collect some fur. I did purchase the curtains for the blackout quality though, and in that aspect they are perfect, so I highly recommend these curtains!

I love these. My room was constantly too hot. The second I changed to these I could notice about a 10degree difference. They are awesome. Keeps the room nice and dark in the morning as well.

It's hard to imagine such poor quality. First of all, he doesn't have 100% shading, Secondly,the length of the two pieces is not the same. One side of a curtain might measure 45 1/2” and the opposite side will measure 47”. The worst thing is the curtain sends out a strong chemical smell, which is the industrial smell. It's supposed to be formaldehyde. If it's hung at home, it must be harmful to the body.DON'T BUY!!!

For the money they are good value - they work - all good - you'll still get a bit of light round the edges but you will with any curtain unless you go oversize on every perimiter

The material is nice, and the colour very vivid, but the curtain lets through sunlight. It needs another curtain or blind behind it for it to be absolutely dark.
