asobu Ultimate Stainless Steel Ceramic Inner Coating Coffee Mug with Double Walled Copper Lining Insulation, 12 Ounces (Midnight Marble)

I have a smaller ASOBU ceramic but needed a bit more capacity; this was perfect size. Finish & quality are excellent. Surface is nicelt textured. Handle is comfortable to hold. Rubber bottom is a nice touch. Ceramic lining does make a difference (to me). The color, matte black, really is gray (to my eyes) but I like it a lot. The lid is NOT leakproof (nor is advertised as such) but is easy on/off/clean and mostly spillproof when closed.. The cup does NOT fit my GM truck holder but does fit well in an expander that I have. Height works well in both Keurig and Nespresso machines. Keeps coffee hot/warm on par with other insulated cups I have used. There is no perfect cup (yet) but this one comes very close.

After heavy use, the cork fell off the bottom and revealed a lovely ceramic base that is entirely sealed. I’m so glad this happened. This cup now looks entirely dishwasher safe. In my option, this is now the perfect cup. It’s the only cup I can find that is 16 ounces, vacuum insulated, dishwasher safe with a ceramic interior lining. I just ordered another one with the intention of removing the cork bottom.

First off, I was disappointed when I opened the box and saw I was sent a coffee mug stamped with 12oz 360ml instead of the 16oz 490 ml Ultimate mug that was shown in the listing photos. To be sure I tested the volume and it held 12 oz. I was really hoping to get the 16oz 490ml one that was pictured. Also the measurements provided in listing do not match what was received. Listing shows 3.5" wide x 4.75" tall, whereas I measure 3.375" wide by 4.5" tall. I already have a ceramic 14oz mug I wanted to replace with an insulated glass or ceramic one. I have some excellent stainless surface travel mugs, one with a nice handle but I do not like the taste steel imparts and I prefer glass or ceramic. This mug definitely looks nice, holds temperature well and has a ceramic coating over the steel core. The half-round handle makes the mug tend to tilt to side as you hold it. An ear shaped handle would be better. The lid is serviceable as it helps the beverage maintain temperature and seems splash proof while walking around or driving. If you hold the mug upside down or it falls over on it's side, liquid will seep out even with lid slider closed (unlike my two travel mugs). But for what I will use it for, sitting at my desk or even car trip, that is not really a problem. You must hand wash and be gentle, with no dishwasher, microwave or freezer usage. Because it holds temperature well, no reheating in microwave is not of any concern. Very solid desirable mug, I just would have preferred to receive the 16oz 490ml Ultimate mug shown in listing. (BTW, their shorter, wider cork bottomed one did not interest me as much as the Ultimate)

Love the cup. Keeps my coffee hot. No metallic taste whatsoever. The lid could use some improvement. It's not exactly leak proof and the mouth opening could be a bit more slender. At least, for me.

Love the double wall. I have bought multiple of them. I only hand washed and after ~8 months the outer layer does start to come off. I don’t mind though. I scrubbed off all of what was the wood looking one and it looks great in stainless steel.

I recently tried out the asobu Stainless Steel Insulated Coffee Mug, and overall, I have to say that it's a decent option. The mug seems to be of good quality, and it does a pretty good job of keeping the heat of my coffee for a decent amount of time - though I do wish it could keep it hot for longer.The ceramic inside is a bit of a gimmick, in my opinion, but it does make it slightly easier to clean. However, the lid itself leaves a bit more to be desired. It tends to leak, and the sliding door doesn't seal perfectly, which can be a bit of a hassle. Additionally, it doesn't seem to stay shut on its own very well, so you have to be careful when transporting it.All in all, I would give the asobu Stainless Steel Insulated Coffee Mug 3 stars. While it's not perfect, it's still a decent option if you're looking for a portable coffee mug that can keep your coffee hot for a decent amount of time.Oh, one more thing the mug doesn't fit in my car cup holder, so if you're looking for a mug that you can use comfortably in your car, this might not be the best option for you.

Love everything about the cup. Only wish it was 16oz. It holds the heat as long as advertised.Bought for elderly sister. She can now sip on her coffee for hours and it's still hot!

Good quality material. Due to the ceramic the flavor of the coffee is good, no leakage, not heavy, of course it’s my favorite color and I use it everyday to take coffee to work.

It's a pretty good insulated mug! But, I just don't understand why they would send the wrong color? It's not like the packaging doesn't say the color right on it!

BEST COFFEE MUG I HAVE EVER USED, BAR NONE !It keeps the coffee hot so long, I almost thought I was imagining how much time had passed.The ceramic lining makes it preserves taste, without adding a metal taste like. Other mugs do.

He buscado una taza para mi café de cerámica, esta tiene el interior color crema pero no creo sea cerámica o es una capa muy pero muy delgada. Realmente no es lo que yo buscaba porque siento si sabe a metal un poco el café, pero no le doy mala calificación porque la taza en sí está muy bien hecha y de material resistente en el exterior, lo único que veo es una tapa frágil que no contiene por completo mi café en caso de mucho movimiento, si llega a derramar.

My coffee mug arrived yesterday. I tried it this morning just with my bunny ears silicone cup lip, it still kept my coffee really hot for up to 30mins to an hour.I love it a lot.I will give an update only if the ceramic coating will chip off after few months usage.

La taza está bien pero la tapadera no encaja bien, está floja y tienes q mantener la taza de pie. Luego la tapadera tampoco se puede limpiar bien por dentro y quedan residuos.
