I purchased this back in 2020 and it has held up amazingly for the price. There are no faded spots, no scratches that I can see and that is with multiple cats that are constantly roaming on top of this. It doesn't absorb liquids so even if you spill on it you just need to wipe up the residue if it dries. So yeah, it is very durable and continues to look great over 5 years later.

For the record I do not plan on returning or asking for a refund. After getting it out of the box I noticed there was a puncture through the laminate thankfully it was on the underside. I will prob only ever notice it when I disassemble it to move, but it was supposed to be 7 to 14 day shipping instead of the 3 day sprint someone got it here in. I got this in combination with a Vivo Standing desk which together is a very nice package only costing around $500 before tax which is great when you shop around. The pre-drilled pilot holes matched up well on the left and right side for the stand however the middle holes were off by quite a bit so I had to redrill them. Not a big deal if you have a power drill and the proper bit lying around. I would also recommend using the power drill in general to get your screws in just don't overdo it on the torque and you won't have any issues. Iv only been using the desktop for a few days, but it feels pretty surdy, and even if it only lasts a couple years its really only $100 bucks so I can't complain much. Great value in my opinion for as much as its worth. I'm not a vivo fan boy, but I also have a monitor stand which I thought was overkill for my hold desk, but now with a moving desk I'm happy for it.

Nice desk, it is sturdy and feel like it's good for it's price. Only issue is the box was damaged during transport and when I opened it, the table had some damage on the under side. The Frame I purchased covers the damage, so not too big of an issue for me there.

Arrived well packaged, there was no damage anywhere on the table top. It is particle board, aka fake wood. I use coasters for drinks and have not had any issues with water damage - which you should also do because particle board is notorious for getting water damaged over time from even just condensation from a can of soda. However the coating on the board seems water resistant - but personally I think it's better safe than sorry. Plenty thick enough to mount a triple monitor stand clamp mount. My only complaint is that if I would have realized how far out my monitors sit with my monitor stands I would have ordered a 30" wide (deep?) desk instead of 24", this is not an issue with the tabletop because VIVO does sell a 71"x30" tabletop however it is nearly 1.5x more expensive.
