Will it save clothes from moisture n bad smell due to moist climate in rainy season?

Bad smell from clothes is come because of moisture, as the other storage covers are made up of pvc, non woven is less or not breathable so you find the same problem. But woven cotton is breathable so it can allow moisture to evaporate and also smell.

Can I wash this in the washing machine ?
