KaKu LNB 5 for Slimline Dish Directv Brand

I have 2 older DVR receivers, which means a total of 4 tuners. One of the DVR's was getting NO signal on sat-99 and 103 on tuner #2 ONLY. Tuner 1 was OK. These sats carry the local channels. After testing all of my wiring and even installing new B-Band filters, this was my last thing to replace. It fixed that problem and all of the sats seem to be received better, along with a good dish pointing. I'll keep this old system on life support then get a SWM system, new dvr's and a switch after Covid-19.

Needed a replacement LNB, it was not that the old one was bad, but it did need an upgrade as mine only had one receiving device on it. It was simple to install, if only the re-positioning of the satellite would have been easier.It turned out to a good thing that could not find signal though as had Directv send tech and they got it done quickly and install another stabilizing bar so the dish will not move around in the wind so much.Glad that taking the risk that it would not work was worth the worry, great product.

Solved all problems with a ten year old lnb picture was flickering and dropping in and out on a couple of receivers even when I had good signal strength on transponders 85 to 100 now all transponders are 95 or more l have d protection plan but decided to fix myself because they always get to charge you somehow don't know way we have to insure their stuff anyway only issue was it should be shipped in a bigger box with some packing around it box was the exact same size as the lnb the box was smashed don't how the lnb survived with only a tiny crack in the gray d tv logo plastic cover

Fixed my problem with intermittent reception on some transponders.

We didn't have the equipment protection plan with Directv so they were going to charge us $50 to come out and check out system when it was very clear the LNB was damaged. One of us would have had to take off work to wait for the tech so we would have been out wages as well as the $50 for the service call. So glad we found this on Amazon and installed it ourselves. It literally took minutes.

Useless item received. The sale item was 4-wire-nonswm LNB for DirectTV. Received 1-wire-swm that is useless for 4 wire installation.Merchant failed to replace it and failed to refund.

I can not stress enough how fast my purchase was shipped! Ordered it late afternoon and was at my house before noon the NEXT DAY!!!! It came carefully wrapped and boxed with the LNB safely inside. It was, as advertised, brand new and had the Direct TV logo on it so it was not a knock off but the genuine deal. The price was the best I could find anywhere on the internet. I only needed the left round plastic cup, but you don't sell it , so you or Direct TV push the customers to buy the whole thing.when it really is not necessary if you sell the parts we only need.
