Very impressed!
I needed a particularly effective broom because I have an allergic dog, lots of tiny hairs and dander constantly shed on my wood floors, and I spend my summers in a chalet where the cleaning equipment is inadequate. So I needed something that picks up a lot of fine dirt quickly and easily, and that is transportable -- since I'll have to bring the broom in the car and then travel home with it again. This broom is excellent in all respects -- and in others I hadn't thought of. Because it has a low profile it easily goes under the dresser and other places to remove dust I usually can't reach with a broom. The silicone picks up dust amazingly well but also releases it easily -- unlike normal fiber bristles. My habit is to make a pile of debris and then vacuum it up (or you could pick most of it up with a plastic bag and then either sweep up the remaining particles or vacuum just that, to save on filter bags). The broom is also excellent on carpet. Upshot: this is exactly what I wanted and more. Well worth the very reasonable price, and highly recommended. Update: Today I had to do an emergency rug cleaning (dog darling had piddled on it extensively because no one could get to the door fast enough to let her out). I pulled the rug through the doorway, threw a bucket of water over it, sudsed it, squeegeed it with this broom, rinsed it, squeegeed the water out again, and then draped it over a bench to dry. I had not expected to use this feature, but it was very useful especially as a quick-fix solution. (Otherwise I would have been obliged to get the hot carpet shampoo machine out: a major bother compared with this.) Hopefully won't be needing to squeegee with it again, but you never know!

Works Great! Better than rubber bristles.
I Love this broom! I have 2 dogs and a cat which means I have quite a bit of hair in the house. Our floors are distressed Mexican paver tiles which are very uneven and difficult to sweep. This broom works great on both the tile and, surprisingly, carpet. It seems to take the individual hairs and gather them into little ropes of hair. That keeps them from flying around and avoiding the dustpan. I also really like the silicone bristles. I bought a hand held rubber bristle brush to use on furniture and the silicone bristles work much better. A couple of things I would like to see improved. Because of the "push broom" configuration, it doesn't get into the corners as well as I'd like. Also it works much better pulled across the floor than it does when pushed. I would love to see this broom made into a normal angled house broom with longer bristles and the ability to reach into corners. Overall this is a great broom and I would highly recommend it to anyone with animals.

Rolls hair up, does not actually stick to brush. Good to fluff up rug
This is a sturdy brush, including the handle. I like the ability of it to fluff up my area rugs. What I am a little disappointed with is that the hair won't stick to the broom so you can just raise the broom, pick it off and throw it away. Instead it makes string-like hair rolls which you must bend down to pick off the rug . I like that it is silicone since I have a latex allergy and that it seems sturdy. Some competing, cheaper items are latex and reviews say the handle typically breaks.

Love this broom!
Having 3 cats translates into cat hair on my hardwood and tile floors. This works great at catching the hair without sending any of it flying through the air to be re-deposited elsewhere. I pull it towards me and it catches the hair, dust and even stray litter. The pile of hair, litter, etc. can then be easily picked up with a damp paper towel or my stick vacuum. No more dust and hair flying around every time I sweep. I love how well this broom really attracts cat hair and dust. It even pulls a decent amount of cat hair off my oriental rugs but definitely does a better job on the wood and tile floors. It works exactly as the description states. The handle is very strong and holds up fine with normal usage on floors. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Doesn’t work in carpets.
Not worth the money if you have shag carpet. May work well on burber or area rugs but not at all in regular carpet. I think this is more made for hard surface floors. It didn’t do a thing for my carpets. I have a dog that sheds and I know there is hair in the carpet because if I sit on the floor it is in my clothes. Thought this broom might help but nothing. Didn’t pull any hair out at all. Save your money.

A valuable product I am glad I purchased!
I have never owned a silicon broom before, and am shocked by how well it works. I wish I had purchased this years ago. I used it before vacuuming my carpet, and with all that I broomed up, I realize that this will really save me on needing to go through so many of those hepa vacuum bags as I will not be filling them up as quickly if I use this broom first. In growing up, my Mom always had me vacuum first and then rake the carpet with the carpet rake. When I use this silicon broom before vacuuming, it not only brooms up anything that is on top of the fibers, but the broom also fluffs up the carpet like a carpet rake does, which enables the vacuum to pull more stuff out of the carpet than it usually would, because the fibers are more vertical. I am extremely happy with this broom! Thank you Vivian for manufacturing it, and thank you for the seller to be selling it on Amazon! This is one very appreciative buyer.

Defective handle piece
I ordered one of these and one of the middle pieces of the handle was defective. You couldn't screw one of the other handle pieces into it because the plastic part inside is in too far to screw the other parts into. I returned it and got another one which had exactly the same problem! The head on it works great for getting up pet fur, but I shouldn't have to provide my own handle at this price, because they didn't manufacture it right.

It works
It definitely sweeps. Still have to chase dog fur balls though.
