This adapter works perfectly for headphone use while listening to music. I also like how I can charge and listen to headphones or share my music with another person with the second audio port. It seems well built and I noticed no audio change between having one and two headphones plugged in. Over all very happy with the adapter and will be using it at music festivals to share my band's music. Nice and compact as well for easy travel.

This worked one time on a roadtrip. Tried it again on a second road trip and it no longer works. Very disappointing.

Bought this to have audio split to two sets of earbuds for private listening on our iPad. This is also suppose to allow ‘lightning’ charging. The reason for only 3 stars (maybe should be only 2), is the inability to plug the charging cable into the lightning port on this device. The audio splitting works great, and charging the iPad separately still works. Not sure if the charging problem occurs on all of these or if I just got a malfunctioning device. Bought this quite a while ago, past the return deadline, so we’ll just live with the issue for now, not a huge problem just annoying.

EDIT: I bought another one for my mom to use since this is working great for me still and has a good quality feel to it. The one thing I wish is that you can hear calls going through this device so that I can take calls in the car. The box clearly states this adapter will not work for calls. It would be fully perfect if it had this functionality.It's working well so far! The dongle doesn't feel very cheap. I use this to charge my phone and also connect my car's cassette adapter aux cord so I can play music and my GPS navigation using the car's stereo system. The charger fits both of my phones' lightning port (I have an iPhone SE 2nd generation and iPhone 12), and the sound is crisp. I don't have a need for the second headphone jack, but the quality of this item is worth the slightly higher price vs. some other listings on Amazon.

This works so much better than the one I was given with my Samsung phone. I needed one that did Crack in and out of sound anymore. This has such a great sound from my headphones to the phone. I hate using the wireless headphones and it is hard to find the correct adapter that works well. This block design does not bend and break like the wire ones. This will last me much longer and it has several options as far as plug ports. I am happy with the item and is compatible with my android phone. Nice small design so I do not have to lug a bigger connector around as well.
