SVS Prime Satellite 5.1 Package (Premium Black Ash)

For those of you looking for a solid surround sound system for your home, look no further. This SVS system is a lot of bang for your buck. I tried going the sound bar route, with little success. This system is easy to set up, albeit I had to run my own speaker cabling. That was pretty easy as I had a spool of 14 ga wire that I put banana plugs on the ends of and then wired the whole thing in about 20 minutes. I then pair the speakers with my Denon AVR-X1600H 4K UHD AV Receiver 7.2 Channel receiver and it's as good as I needed (and hoped) it would be. All in I spent approx. $1700 so the system. The only drawback to the bundle that I ordered is that I wish it came with a true center speaker as for now, I'm using one the satellite speakers as my center. That will be changing soon when I upgrade to the SVS Prime (or Ultra!) Center Speaker. That's the neat thing about this whole setup; you can upgrade/add and/or swap out different combinations, depending on your liking and your wallet of course. Call me old school, but I also love the fact that this whole setup is hardwired, none of that Bluetooth crap. I've had nothing but problems with wireless speakers and their overall fidelity and sound quality. There's something about the peace of mind knowing that my sound system is fully connected at all times, and it's crystal clear and boy does it thump! In the end, this system blows away the comparable BOSE/Klipsch systems that exist. SVS knows what they're doing and have created a truly remarkable home theater system for a very modest budget compared to what you get in the box. If you are reading this, don't look any further, get this system asap. You won't be disappointed!

These speakers are excellent quality, packaged well and have amazing sound!

I decided to upgrade the old Bose 3-2-1 with a true surround system. I saw these advertised on Best Buy's website and decided to research further. The majority of the reviews I read gave this satellite setup very high marks for sound quality and value...and i can see why...they are amazing! So far, I have only hooked up three of the five satellites that came with this system and am still amazed! I will review further once wiring is completed and rear satellites are installed.

The only part that I"m satisfied with is the subwoofer, if your main interest is movie watching , the subwoofer will do great job and will compensate for the lacking speakers but if you are also interested in music these speakers are really not going to satisfy you, they are just disappointing , I'm already started to replace them with other speakers , definitely i will keep the sbwoofer

They sound very nice and are of very good quality. They were a replacement for my Bose lifestyle 5. There's no distortion even at high volumes in my 420square feet room,voice is very clear and bass from sub is excellent,but occupy far more space than a Bose which looks sleekier. Bose critics who say Bose has no highs or lows may be a little biased against Bose. Anyway,I love this product .

Love these speakers !! Bought for our den to have better quality sound. Mounted 2 on speaker stands behind couch, the others at the TV. These work great to disperse sound around the room. Better sound when others are talking around the room while you want to watch the TV. Plus if I want I can open a window and hear nice music on the porch that is not tinny. Had these professionally installed.

SVS does a great job of providing a good product at a fair price with amazing customer support. I purchased this as "a new in box used set" at a considerable discount and coupled it with a Marantz AVR. One of the speakers was mounted using Perlesmith mounts which failed causing the speaker to fall 7 feet. The speaker itself sustained no damage but the grill was torn. When I contacted SVS to inquire about a better set of mounting brackets and how to purchase a replacement grill they offered me a free replacement and directed me to a more robust bracket... Their customer support is astounding as is the quality and sound of their speakers.. Highly recommended

Needed compact hard wired speakers to replace old ones after basement redesign. I use these for tv and my computer driven golf simulator. These little suckers pump. In a 5.1 layout with the subwoofer they are crystal clear and can shake the whole house with the base (see the Matrix and John Wick).

Seems good. alot better then the polk audio sub i had before. Canadian price is to high.

Absolutely the best sounding surround speakers system on market for this price. Don't be surprised by the size of the satellite speakers. Together with subwoofer, those little beast are so powerful that can shake well even big size of the room. Awesome built quality as well!!

El set es excelente las bocinas suenan mucho mas fuerte de lo que aparentan, y el subwoofer esta que da miedo parasu tamaño, ya tenía las 3 bocinas frontales y un subwoofer mas grande, todos SVS Ultra y con este set pude dar el salto a 7.2 luego luego, tonalmente se mezclan muy bien con las versiones Ultra, lo recomiendo mucho. Solo una observación que me dió una experiencia muy molesta, compre este set a un descuento inusualmente bajo, y me llego el set incompleto sin el subwoofer, y solo 4 bocinas, al parecer una mala jugada por parte de algun empleado de amazon, pero el departamento de servicio a clientes me brindó una atención de primera y me reemplazaron el equipo por uno completo sin ningún problema, cualquier problema que tangan acudan a servicio a clientes dan una atención excelente

POSITIVO: SVS es una excelente marca, se ve desde el empaque en que vienen sus productos y estas pequeñas bocinas tienen una increible fuerza y claridad, claro no esperes graves de ellas pero para eso esta el Subwoofer, juntos hacen una mancuerna perfecta, las bocinas soportan amplificacion maxima de 150w y el Subwoofer da 300w continuos y soporta picos de 700w como veras su tamaño no describe el poder que pueden dar pero lo mas importante con claridad. NEGATIVO: Compre este paquete con un descuento inusual y ya vi por que, una de las cinco bocinas viene equivocada pusieron una color negro Ash en lugar de piano Gloss y no trae la tapa que cubre la bocina ni su instructivo, la perdida de una estrella es por esto por que el producto es lo mejor que puedes comprar.
