This switch is easy to wire once you understand that the receiver needs power and ground not to be confused with the power and ground for the light. This is a circuit interrupter. So cut the power wire to the light and connect the end coming from the power source to the middle wire and connect the end going to the light to the outside wire. Couldn’t ask for a better solution for my rv lighting. Other than maybe the rv manufacturer do it right in the first place. This is so much more convenient than trying to reach the lights on the ceiling

Maybe a little tricky to wire up for most people. It does have easy to use connectors but don’t work well with the way it is wired

Just installed this switch and it is an amazing switch, I don't offten write reviews but this is what you want! The switch is a pleasure to use with a nice crisp but soft feel and immediate response. Highly recommend if you want multiple switch locations. Who wants to walk all over their RV in the dark to a single light switch! I don't! Or if you just want it in a better spot. Cons are the touch button is maybe a tad larger than it needs to be and the color options could be better besides just white (probably can paint actually)

Not all travel trailers are the same. I have a 2022 Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser and it kept blowing fuses when I tried to wire the light as shown in some of the photos. In mine, I connected red to positive power, black to ground, and the two white wires to the overhead light.It works like a charm, and I don't have to climb on the bed to access the overhead bedroom light.
