Well made and sturdy!
I'm going to start this 5* review by saying 'Don't Buy This Product!' What! I hear you shout. If you look at the igadpole shop on Amazon you'll see that for less than a tenner more you can buy this same product in a kit with the angled adapter (which is a tenner on its own) plus 3 other attachmentsItems arrived very quickly. The pole itself (I got the 4.5m) is sturdy aluminium and heavier than I expected, it feels really solid. At the base end are sponge grips to help hold it. There is a lever for each section to be extended. Tip - start extending from the bottom not the top - this extends the thicker, sturdier sections first so flexes less.It does get unwieldy at height, as to be expected with something this long. And as you go up the sections there is obviously some flex with it being long, tubular aluminium. However the flex is so much less than on cheapo products and allows you to get a good contact with the surface of your windows etc. It's very long! The other part is the combo squeegee/cleaning head. I prefer separate heads but this is well made and convenient. Mine had a slight fault so I sent a message to the seller and they immediately shipped a replacement head - amazing service! The squeegee is decent quality with flexible, good quality rubber and the blade is replaceable. You get 2 cloths for the head. 1 is a microfibre towelling type which is very thick and good quality. The other is a microfibre knit 'noodle' type as found in a car wash kit but to fit this. I presume this is for thicker dirt, but I've found the first one great for everything. The cloths slide on from one side and then have a sturdy velcro fastener. They wash nicely. Very impressed. The only thing I dont like is that you cant get the perfect angle on high windows as the window sill gets in the way. The angled adapter probably helps with this so see my first paragraph again. This pole a great product and with different accessories can be used for many other things such as gutter cleaning (which is why I bought the longer one), painting walls and ceilings, sweeping conservatory roofs etc. I feel this is a well made product and durable enough to last for years. My only gripe is that the price has dropped by £15 since I bought it. Damn!

Strong, quality build product
Strong, good hand grip and the 3.5m size was perfect for reaching our first floor windows. Don't buy the cheap flimsy versions as you do need to add some pressure on the pole extended

Absolutley Superb Product
I was worried that 5 metres would be too short to reach our upstairs windows, but in truth it's more than enough. Well made, easy to set up and fairly light too, (I usually struggle to hold these poles, but this one is quite light). Great investment and will mean that we won't need to spend money on a Window Cleaner.. It's also very handy for cleaning the outside of guttering and walls etc. We get mess from seagulls on the walls and by attaching a damp rag to the pole we can keep the exterior of the house clean too. Very happy with our purchase!

Just the job!!!!
my local window cleaner has retired so I decided to buy this pole and clean the windows myself. My house is 2 storey and this pole reaches top story windows no probelm. Very sturdily made. My windows are now sparklingly clean. 🤗

Okay, but not the same as a window cleaner
I think some of the preceding reviews are idealistic in terms of suggesting that this equipment can replace a window cleaner. If you can afford professional window cleaners, then they are still the best option as regards the end result.Much depends on the state of your windows to start with, and their position. My detached house has some (very dirty) upstairs windows overlooking a busy, polluted road, and others (slightly grimy) overlooking a quiet cul-de-sac. It also has the challenge of a ground floor extension with a difficult-to-reach bathroom window on the floor above, overlooking it.The best results I had this afternoon were with ground floor windows that I could clean, close up, by hand. The attachments that come with this kit were useful for an initial clean, but the best results were only achieved when I worked close up with kitchen roll and window spray. As for the upstairs windows, the dirtiest ones did look better after using this equipment on them. However, parts of them looked better still after I had reached out from inside the bedrooms and cleaned what I could reach by hand. The slightly grimy upstairs windows did not look appreciably better after using this equipment on them, because it is not easy to manoeuvre the cleaning pole (and its choice of heads) smoothly from 15ft or so below. The bathroom window overlooking the extension looked smeary and much worse than before I started cleaning it; this is because I could only reach it from a 45 degree angle and I could not stand directly underneath it.So in its favour; the equipment is very easy to set up and to extend, depending on the length you want; changing the heads is straightforward; the kit is sturdy and good quality, with padded grips for your hands. The drawbacks are that it is not the easiest to manoeuvre from ground level - you need strong hands / grip. You must also be able to stand directly under the windows you want to clean - it is too heavy and awkward to manoeuvre the pole from an angle.Would I recommend it? If you have very dirty windows that are otherwise unreachable, yes. In my own case, I would have got equally good results by reaching out of my bedroom windows with the attachable heads on a shorter (and cheaper) 3-4ft pole.

Perfect for job
Don't normally do reviews but this is worth it. Perfect for job did concervatory roof and it got in all the angles and upstairs windows above concervatory, the facia under the gutters too. The goose head end makes it very versatile, even cleans upstairs sills, and so much better than my old water filled extenable brush and lighter. Only used it once but so far I'm impressed, and my roof is gleaming.

Excellent product
The extended pole was much better than I expected. It was strong and sturdy. The extension was easy to operate. I used it to clean my solar panels. 20 feet gave me plenty of reach. The mop and squeegee were excellent for cleaning the panels. Highly recommended.

Very good quality
This is a heavy window-washing tool. It has to be to reach 15+ feet into the air and not bend. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it extended. The scrubber with squeegee is so handy, no more lowering the pole and changing back and forth.

Window Magic for second story cleaning
I used this on my own home, and it worked like magic. I had to get used to holding it in the air while fully extended, but eventually learned how to expand it, move it side to side, and close it down when finished.

Works well
I like the extendable pole that was easy to adjust. Did a good job of cleaning my windows and the squeegee removed the water well.
