Geyser technician told me that these are not incompatible for geyser. Just bend these pipes and see they bend so easily. He told me that pipes should be difficult to bend/fold . Only those pipes can be used for hot water flowing.

Not for AO smith
Thread size is bit more than the heater thread size. I have tested with AO smith. You may need to add extra O rings for better fitment. If you add extra o ring, there will be high chances of leakage. So plan accordingly.
