Great Kettle, Amazing Costumer Service!!!
Okay let's start out how buying this started. I reviewed much of the customer feedbacks on similar products and this one also. I found this one and took a risk on it. The risk paid off. I find many of the reviews disturbing and straight up ignorant. I'll explain why. From the moment I brought this Kettle I was sent an email. Actually the email told me once I get the Kettle to reply to that email. I of course dismissed the email. I will inform you this product was purchased with my own hard earned money. I wasn't given this product to write a glamorous review. So I used this product not once but pretty much 3 times a day. It's wonderful. Yes a but is coming. For the thermometer stayed at 190 for a long time then water would boil after removing the kettle would skip to 212°F. I use this for French press coffee so I like my temp to be 195°F. So I did a little investigation thinking maybe the temp was off period. Well it's not at all. Actually for I have very accurate tools for measuring temperatures. I found it to very accurate within a degree or so. That my fellow humans is accurate unless you work at JPL and need to be even closer. For godsakes I'm making coffee not sending people to Mars. Basically it was sticking at the 190 mark and then going to boiling mark after a minute it was boiling. Not a huge issue for me personally. For something I use as a reference point and really great for it's preinstalled on the Kettle. No need to get out a thermometer and have one more thing to clean. French press coffee is great but the clean up can be a small chore in the morning when running to work. Anyways I received an email today. Someone stating they are one of the owners. And basically asking if I like the Kettle and was up to my standards. That their number 1 priority is satisfaction of the customer. So because I know how evil humanity can be over a purchase. I informed them of the issue I had to make sure to prevent any unhappy customers in the future. I didn't even want the thermometer replaced to be honest. I cared about have the Kettle last the long term vs a thermometer will not out last the kettle. Now because of reviews that seemed shady to me. I need to inform future buyers that consider them reviews crap. I strongly believe if these issue was in the beginning the company would be more then happy to replace their Kettle. I got a email back after I stated I was just informing them of the thermometer issue. They recognize it was defective for that shouldn't happen and sending me a new one. I did not have a leaking issue, product came to me in perfect shape, and everything worked amazing. Excluding the sticking thermometer at the 190 mark. Everything was perfect and I would buy this Kettle again. I hope I don't have to ever buy another one for myself. I know I would buy this again for someone as a gift. I know that if some people had the issues they claim from out of the box. This company seemed to be happy to correct these issues promptly. I give this 5 stars because a sticking thermometer doesn't warrant anything less. If you have a issue I recommend emailing them first before giving them a bad mark. That's just pathetic. Give a company chance to correct their issues before you curse them.

Great little kettle, wonderful customer service
I've had this kettle for about 6 months and I love it even though it's actually my second one. About a couple of weeks after the first one arrived I noticed there was a tiny, pin-sized hole in the side near the bottom. Little drips of water were coming out. I contacted their customer service via email (there was no phone number) and they got right back to me and sent me a new one ASAP, no charge. They even emailed later to make sure the new one had arrived and was in good condition. The new one has been great. I'm the only coffee drinker in my house so it works out well to make it via the pour-over method rather than have a coffee maker taking up space on my counter. The handle and the knob do not get hot. They get warm, but not so warm you can't touch them. I like that the handle is tilted away from the kettle a little bit so your knuckles don't get burned. I have small hands but if you have larger hands like my hubby this would be a plus. It holds just the right amount of water for me. If I fill it about half way, I enough water for one cup of coffee plus a little to spare. The water pours out of the spout smoothly. It's easy to keep clean. I wash it out every day and once week heat a mixture of water and vinegar to remove the hard water deposits. Pipe cleaners from the craft section of the Dollar Store will clean the spout (I do that weekly with a little soap). If you have larger hands you might want to use a bottle brush to clean the inside. I use one even though my hand fits through the opening with a little bit of space left. It works a little better. The only thing I would watch out for is that if the water gets too hot and boils hard it will come shooting out of the spout. It does NOT whistle like a traditional tea kettle so you do have to monitor it more closely. This is just something to be aware of especially if you have small kiddos. That said, I don't blame the kettle. It's just physics and user error. I managed to avoid boiling it over until just this week. As long as you can watch it (listen for bubbling sounds and watch for steam) it's not a problem. I would only let this sway your opinion if you've got too much going on in the morning to keep an eye on it or if you're worried about small children.

Works as expected
This 1.0L / 34oz - Ovalware RJ3 Stainless Steel Drip Kettle met all my expectations.Been using a few days only and because I drip one coffee cup at a time, don't fill it to near its' capacity. Good to know I can make several cups in the future but normally one at a time, two at a time in my future.Handling while pouring super easy, handle cool and comfortable. I leave the top off to see and hear water boiling. The bottom is flat wall to wall which tells me down the road should some signs of rust come up, and it WILL as ALL kettles that are induction compatible will eventually show signs of rust. Why? well to be induction compatible a "lesser" stainless base has to be magnetic metallurgy has to be incorporated into the base.Standard rust free stainless is generic rust prone steel with chromium added to hinder rust. Induction friendly stainless has to be magnetic. To be induction friendly, some degree of a lesser/modified stainless is introduced to the base. Not surprisingly, some degree of rust is inevitable. I like this kettle more because the day I see some rust creeping I can easily deal with it.So far I have only used this kettle on my home natural gas stove top. I plan on using on a portable induction stove in our camper later on.As an aside, two recent Swedish and Norwegian studies indicated that drinking filtered, not unfiltered, coffee is actually better for you than not drinking coffee. Unfiltered coffee is actually detrimental to your health. Wish I had known this as for decades I have been using my Italian made stainless (non induction no rust) MOKA coffee maker. The researchers and data made their case.

Poor quality item I cannot recommend it.
I got the kettle out from its packaging, filled it and put it on the hob to give it its first boil. There was a small hole in the side of the kettle which was obviously unacceptable, with water leaking out on to the hob. Don't they quality control check these things? The kettle did boil and I had quite a shock when I grabbed the handle as it was extremely hot to the touch, to the point where I almost burned myself. On inspection I noticed that stainless steel passes right through the plastic handle conducting heat right to it. Needles to say the kettle was sent straight back for a refund. Sorry i can't recommend this kettle due to its poor quality and badly designed handle.

Poor quality
Looks like a quality product at first sight but has proved to be the opposite. The spout is difficult to use as it is at the wrong angle. After a couple months of use the kettle has developed a leak and the bottom has started to rust inside.

item as easurement mark applys
I received the item few days ago, delivery takes about 5 working days, it is okay,The design and quality met what I expected, which is really nice.the only insufficient is the maximum volume of kettle is 1.0L, but there is no any measurement mark in the kettle, then I have to buy another measurement jug for pouring water into the kettle.

Top product from top company
Great kettle at a great price. Works on induction hob and no seams for it to leak like my previous one.It arrived in one piece but the handle broke within a week. The company was excellent and a quick Facebook message (to a real person, which was nice) and a replacement was in my hands in 2 days. Excellent product, price and service.

I’d love to give 5 stars but...
I bought it in May, and I like it a lot, looks good, feels sturdy, I’d love to give 5 stars but after just a few months of use the probe gave up and it doesn’t mark the temperature anymore, so that’s a shame.
