I bought my radiator pressure tester kit, it arrived and it's much more than I expected, very good quality. And I think I'm happy with what I received

It works great and it's a money maker and easy to use. A plastic piece on the knob broke and called Redline and spoke to Mark and he told me it's under warranty and ship me the part in two days he treated me like family great company and staff thanks again

definitely a must for any technician to find leaks. unit works very well. although the price tag still seems excessive for a lot, but compared to mac tools which this kit is identical too just about in all ways and compared to snap on, this is cheap. it will pay for itself in no time. definitely quality build but the yellow pieces for blocking off certain items, could have used a bigger version for 4.6's on trucks. but otherwise.. great product!!

I own an auto repair shop. I have worked for BMW for nearly 10 years and have used several styles/brands of smoke machines. I had borrowed this particular model from another independent shop while doing some work for them and thought it seamed less "expensive" and technical than the dealer version Vacutec. When I opened my shop I needed to purchase one for myself and did extensive research...as with everything I buy.. and found this unit to be "hands down" the best unit out there. Two reasons which are very important: 1) This unit does not require the need for a nitrogen bottle for testing EVAP systems. The danger in using shop air to test EVAP systems for leaks is that when you have Oxygen, Fuel vapor and a spark/heat source you have a potential combination for explosion. Most other units require the use of Nitrogen as the air source while testing EVAP because their heating source to create the smoke is a potential spark. Redline does not use a similar heat source, eliminating the need for nitrogen (= $$$ SAVINGS). 2) The smoke solution used for the Redline unit is simply baby oil....yes...baby oil, which is extremely inexpensive (= $$$ SAVINGS) and the use of dye is not recommended because it has been found to cause future problems in the EVAP systems. Lets be honest...when was the last time you saw a smoke leak and needed dye to tell you the exact location after you turn off the smoke? Yeah I can't think of a time either. Other brands use a VERY expensive "Smoke solution" required for their units upwards of $70 per 8 oz. bottle.

This unit worked great. All I had to do was add the oil and power it up. Have already used it on the intake system of two cars. One car had some leaks and the other one was not leaking. Could have never known for sure without this tool. I hesitated to buy this due to the high price, but it is indeed a quality system.
