I bought my first pair about three or four months ago from a different store, and I can't even believe that I have been able to live without them all these years! The velcro is very strong and very durable... For the first several rides, it is hard to pull the velcro off, but it gets easier from there. The other pairs I've seen have very flimsy, only-last-one-ride velcro's, but not in this case! They are VERY protective, and never bother my horse like other boots do. They come in beautiful colors as well, and overall I would recommend this to ever horse owner out there!

I have them in white and in hot pink, plan to get them in pink zebra, neon green, red, nice boot for the price to match all my tack.
