Best way to fix your phone

After installing screen phone wouldn't boot. I had to take it in to fix it, costing me almost $100 and wasted hours of my time. I thought maybe it was something I did but turns out the frame came with a torn cable.

Its not the right screen and frame. The cables don't match up and the screen is noticeably smaller in width. Won't work.
